Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandThe location is NOT remote. It is in fact close to a roundabout and the city sort of grew around the Razza in the course if time. At first this seemed a downside, but you didnt hear noisy traffic. The appartment lacks a sofa and the wooden stools are a bit uncomfy. But for the rest all good!
The Razza is a wonderful, romantic place to stay close to Grossetto. We stayed with two teenage girls in an appartment in the old main building. The size was quite good and it was well equipped if you want to selfcater. Shops almost around the corner, but car needed. Breakfast was included and simple but tasty. The restaurant is wonderful, small bar included, drinks were even served at the swimmingpool (no caps required!). Reception has good availability. Would stay there again.

HungaryThe breakfast was really poor, no veggies, no eggs. It wasn't arranged by the owner. After i've asked if there is any other option, we could have the next one at their own buffala farm not so far from the city, wich was a really nice experience, and their cheese and joghurts are amazing!!
Altough the place is located next to a bigger road, its very quiet, and you can really relax. The apartment was spacious, and we had wonderful dinner on the terrace. The garden is huge and you can also have a walk inside. The staff was friendly!

ItalyIt is a very nice traditional rural building, furnished with original furniture of the 18th century (at least my bedroom was ). It is on the outskirt of the city, which could be a disappointment if you want to be in the countryside in the middle of nowere. For me it was perfect.
For me it was a perfect fit, because it is close enough to Grosseto, that you can walk to the very downtown (20 min walk) but at the same time, on the way to the seaside. The facilities themselves are good. Nice swimming pool.

Czech RepublicThis is one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in. This little farm is located in Grosseto's surroundings, but you can easily reach the city center by walking. The apartment is fantastic; it offers everything for a pleasant stay and maximum comfort with lovely cozy furnishing. There is also a refreshing pool in the garden and a delicious restaurant in the main building. Last but not least, the staff there is beyond helpful. Lovely receptionist Moria helped me to set up the bike and helped with several Italian translations. And I am more than grateful she made my trip more accessible and made it an unforgettable experience. I wish to come back one day.

BelgiumToo noisy, next to two main roads with a lot of traffic also early morning. Also noisy inside, we could almost follow the conversations of other guests. Still during Corona, the kitchen surfaces had dirty spots/finger marks, not disinfected, no one wearing masks, etc. Creating shade putting umbrellone next to the pool would be nice.
The space of the attick flat, there is a pool. Close to the city.

United StatesThere was no wifi. The listing states 3 different wifi networks available. We were able to locate two of them but one had no signal and the other would not connect. We were able to tether our phone networks to access the web so it was not a big problem.
The hotel is set in a charming garden setting, the interior was well furnished and the kitchen was well equipped. Extremely large rooms. There is a restaurant onsite with garden seating. Unfortunately, we were unable to try it as there was a special event going on during our stay. Nice charming property and we would stay here again.
