How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The location. Walking distance from the most places of interest. Nice neighbourhood, quite, safe with everything you might need nearby (coffee, food, market, metro and bus station)

A perfect place to stay in Rome for few days. Ten minutes walking to Castello Gandolfo, piazza di San-Pietro, metro and bus stops are situated nearby, and there are a lot of places to have breakfast or dinner with wine. No problem with registration in any time. The personal is great as always, the room are clean, the bathroom is comfortable. That was not the fist time for me to stay in Rezidenza, and I'm sure I'll try to book the same room for the next time.

10am check out is a little early..
Beds were very comfortable with good quality sheets and pillows..towels were very good quality too..air conditioning was good but a little noisy..

I did not see the owner of the room. He communicated with me via Whatsapp, but he did not presented him appropriately like: Residence Gracchi and so, and I thank who is this man who try to communicate with me.

Great situation on a quiet complex but 15 minutes away from the Vatican. Near every shop you could possibly want. Great cafe, bakery supermarket and launderette nearby. Also had a kettle, English tea and an iron and ironing board. Not too close to the main tourist areas but an easy journey.

Can’t think of anything!
We really LOVED staying here. It was clean, quiet, amazing strong aircon, great location, and had everything we could need. Really couldn’t fault it. We’ve been travelling Europe for a month straight now and we so appreciated how easy it was to check in, how great the shower was, and how powerful the air conditioning was. All for a great price too! Also lots of laundromats nearby if you do need laundry facilities.

The area was the best! We were so pleased it was only mins. to reach the Basilica. Plus a stones throw away to great restos and Panini shop.

Odd elevator situation and loud neighbors.
Excellent location near a train station and right above a very good restaurant. Linens were comfortable and the check in was seamless with no contact. Secure room.

The bed was pretty uncomfortable. Sound isolation is also very poor. Luckily all other guests were polite so we didn't have problem with noise.
Location is great! Nice neighbourhood, many caffes and restaurants, and the best gelato in Rome is right accros the street. Walking distance from everything you want to visit. Check in was smooth and easy. The room is very clean, good size and you get a small fridge inside.

- room a bit small so for a longer stay might not be the most comfortable but for 3 days it was perfect
- great location, we saw majority of the main attractions on feet - clean, room checked everyday - contact-less check in and check out (comfortable for us as we arrived late after 10pm and had to check out at 6am) - heating in the room (in many hotels i stayed in winter it was missing and it was a big problem at night)

You can hear every single word from the corridor. To do the hoovering at the corridor at 8.30 am is a bit early in our opinion. We dont like this kind of bed sheets but maybe this is italian style.
The location is great. Nice Restaurants nearby, Not too far to the city center! The room was nice and clean, we liked it.

The self checking was a little bit confusing, because was the first time I had ever been in one like that, BUT even though was kind of difficult, I got a lot of support by direct messenges of the manager or the person in charge! Was amazing how did he helped us. His name was Giuseppe!
Was pretty close to the Vatican and public transportation like buses and Metro were really easy to take
