The VIEW is amazing! You basically can see three cities of the lake Como: Bellagio, Menaggio and Varenna. Apartment is well equipped, there was everything we could need. And we loved those little surprises. It has a parking space around 200 meters from the property. because we arrived late I couldn’t find, however the instructions actually was pretty clear.

The parking garage is 200m away from the apartment, and this can be a challenge when traveling with small children or seniors.

Location is great, wonderful view, apartment is large and clean, all appliances are new. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.

Too far from Varenna to walk to town daily especially in rain. Needed a cab twice daily not always available. Add should state car rental advisable.

There were nearly 40 steps down to the apartment and it was a long walk to the garage and garbage cans. This was probably a poor choice for a couple in their 70's with luggage!

Mattress needs replaced. No detergent provided for clothes washer. Should provide more towels. Too far from town so needed taxi everywhere. Hard to get taxi even though list of taxis was provided. Rita was overpriced and very rude and impatient. Mocked us in the taxi. On the other hand, Chicco from M.B. taxi service, was extremely kind, patient, helpful, generous, and honest.

Million dollar view. Mostly quite. Staff was helpful though somewhat impatient.

This place is best when you have car as it is up to the hill. Garage is approx.200metres away from place.

Amazing place with amazing & stunning view! The place is really spacious, clean, comfortable beds etc., also there is everything you need to stay even for a longer time. Varenna is 5-10min drive by car. Beache in Lierna also 10min drive.

the views were excellent, well equipped accommodation and comfy beds. The host was extremely helpful and helped us out with many things across the course of the week. It is a long walk to any shops etc as it is out of Varenna but that didn't bother us but if you're older/less physically fit then you may have to get a car/taxi's

The hair dryer is making a lot of noise despite not being much powerful. Washing machine a bit noisy too. The linen and towels smells too strong like a lot of detergent with a strong aroma was used. It could be a problem for person who is sensitive for smells like me.

View is stunning! The apartment is modern and clean. It has all appliances including coffee maker and nice vacuum cleaner. Easy self check-in. Easy communication with the owner. She replies really fast even on weekend. Own parking garage in a less than 10 min walks.

The place has an amazing view and a perfect big terrace and a smaller balcany. Very clean and a decent kitchen with 2 efficient heat pumps to keep the appartment cool. Good service from the contact Erika, she made everything super easy. Definately recommended!

We may not have read the description property but were expecting the property to be in the main part of Varenna. Instead, it is in a small town near the center (Fiumelatte). Because of this, we did not plan properly and arrived at the Varenna train station instead of Fiumelatte and did not rent a car for the trip. I would not advise to stay here if you are planning on travelling to Lake Como on foot as it is a pretty hefty 40 minute walk into the center of Varenna where mostly everything is (food, grocery, restaurants, sites, ferry terminal etc.). Especially in the July heat, this walk became very unpleasant to do once or even twice roundtrip a day. I would highly recommend renting a car or motorbike if you will stay here!

The apartment was simple and clean, with all the furniture you would need and spacious rooms. Spacious for 2 people, and could easily fit more. The balcony and patio were amazing bonuses and the VIEW from them was spectacular. We came in July so it was usually too hot and sunny to sit out there for long unless it was early morning or after the sun went down at night (but watch out for mosquitos in Lake Como!). Giulia was extremely nice and friendly and super helpful to answer any questions that came up.

The only difficulty was that we had to call a taxi when we wanted to go to the town Center for restaurants and ferry.

The location of Sweet View is far (and uphill) to walk from Varenna unless you come with a car. We did not find a taxi in town when we arrived and had to walk almost for an hour (with our luggage) to reach the apartment. Most of the 3,5 km walk is on the car road sometimes very close to the cars passing by. We received number to several taxis, but unfortunately we got it after we arrived to the apartment. Would be good if the owner in the future could inform guests beforehand that it is not suitable to walk with luggage. Then guests (or the owner) could arrange pick up by taxi before arrival to Varenna.

One of the best views of Lago Di Como one can imagine. Possibility to eat outside on the terrace.
