At check-in, the phone seemed more important than us, which set a poor opening tone. The bath was very slow to drain and seemed partially blocked.

The pool features were great for kids and the garden was nice. The location was also useful for getting to the front promenade and fine for seeing the whole of the lido areas along the coast. Walking distance to Viareggio's Carnivale which was convenient.

The white and orange colour scheme of the room - but this is a really minor point!

The location and confort of the hotel were both excellent. The staff were warm, helpful and welcoming. The room was large and had everything we needed.

*The shampoo provided in the shower, instead of cleaning my hair, made it oily and dirty. * Outdoor swimming pool could be heated. In the summer time I find the water being a bit too cold.

Is the third time I choose this venue for vacation … the amazing staff, a very beautiful garden, the incredible SPA and the wonderful rooms will guarantee you an unforgettable stay. Very close to the beach.

Very nice breakfast, additionally, we were particularly impressed by the excellent indoor pool, this amenity proved to be an absolute gem, especially during the winter season, and also a very good size of the Suite for a family with an amazing Balcony.

It is not your fault but the beach was not accessible with a stroller.

Everything was excellent, especially the facilities for toddlers (our son was 14 months but had plenty toys to play). Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. It is a great hotel with small children. Also the New Year event was excellent with kids, as there was a lot of room for kids to play and they were not forced to sit at the table. The restaurant had excellent food and we enjoyed the breakfast too. The room was spacious and very clean and perfectly fit for a toddler, there were no dangerous items/furniture. Also the pool was wonderful, perfect temperature of the water for a toddler, and very relaxing. We liked that we had to do a reservation and it was never overcrowded. The massages I had were excellent. I liked the bathrobe in the room and the direct elevator to the pool. Also very clean sauna and steam bath. We will definitely recommend your hotel to other families or couples.

It was a shame that the roof terrace/restaurant weren't open, however, out of season not unexpected.

Out of season so the outside pool wasn't in use, however, the internal spa space was welcome. Excellent room with large balcony overlooking the garden. Nice to use the free bicycles to go for ride up and down the beachfront. Excellent choice and quality at breakfast.

The restaurant opening hours were very late (first sitting at 7.30pm), and the items were quite expensive for the size of the meals (same menu was available for room service). It was also veryhard to communicate with the restaurant staff, they kept saying yes when they clearly didn't understand what we were asking. We asked if the lobster weight was without the shell (as we didn't want to spend hours peeling it), they assured us it was, and then came in the shell.

We had booked 2x rooms, one for my husband and I, and a seperate room for my parents. On arrival we were both upgraded to apartments which were exceptional - the apartments provided a lot of space and enabled us to cook for ourselves, do our washing and hang out of the balcony. The reception staff were amazing, especially the woman who checked us in. Her English was perfect, and she went out of her way to help us with every question we had. The range of food for breakfast was amazing and very fresh, with heaps of tables, both indoors and out. The hotel is just aroudn the corner from a huge grocery shop, this was very handy to get food and other supplies for our stay.

Info regarding public transport was scarce. No good if relying on buses in winter season, as they stop service around 7/8pm. Taxi was quoted Viareggio to hotel 25 euros.
