We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The location - a clear view over the lagoon to the city, and very near the boat landing station. A very pleasant manageable walk down to the beach. Breakfast was good; though COVID restrictions meant no self service at the buffet, the staff there & at reception could not have been nicer or more helpful.

Switzerland- As a four start hotel, breakfast buffet could have more choices. - More attendants are needed to serve the buffet in the breakfast. The queue was annoying. - One (or both) of the two air conditioners in our suite need to be fixed. The actual tempretures of the two rooms greatly differ, although they had the same settings.
- Being super close to the waterbus station, the main street and the lagoon, its location is absolutly unbeatable. - The reception was very friendly and helpful. - Decoration of the lobby has a lot of nice details. - Its in-house restaurant is probably one of the best on the island: fresh food, excellent service and a panaromic view to the main island of Venice. - Beds are super confortable. - Despite of being next to the busiest area of the island, rooms were surprisingly quiet, thanks to the sound proof windows.

DenmarkRestaurant staff (part of the hotel) didnt acknowledge me waiting to be seated as they helped all the others before and after me. I was wearing shorts and a T shirt (it was BLAZING HOT) and I think they figured I couldnt possibly be able to afford to dine in the restaurant. Not ideal.
I had a great time. My room had windows opening right to the lagoon. It was BEAUTIFUL.

CroatiaI chose the hotel (and paid in advance) because it advertised parking and I could reserve a suite with a lagoon view pictured on the web-site. After booking however, I was told that there was no parking and at check-in I found that the 'suite' was a cramped attic space with hardly a view at all. I would not have booked the hotel had I been made aware of these shortcomings - I felt misled, and this spoiled my stay. My advice is not to pay for the reservation until you are clear that your expectations are being met. As for the hotel, I recommend that management is more forthcoming about the true level of the accommodation and service they are able to provide.
Good location. The property itself is well situated with great views from the restaurant space. It has good potential. Except for difficulties at check-in, staff were friendly, particularly in the restaurant where the food was good

United KingdomThe charging of devices was very bad. Plugs were difficult to make work if at all and the Wi-Fi needs to be better. Also the staff of the restaurant, primarily the men were unfriendly and unwelcoming. They seemed to have a real problem with a woman dining alone.
Location and cleanliness were excellent. Lovely welcome from reception staff and helpful throughout the stay.

United KingdomOur room had some very low ceiling beams - especially those close to the bed and in the bathroom; we hit our heads several times (& neither of us is tall). We stayed for 7 nights but on 3 of those nights the restaurant was closed for private functions. One of the private functions was very loud and went on until almost midnight - on the terrace immediately below our windows.
Location was amazing, very close to the vaporetto stop and with incredible views over to St Mark's & the Grand Canal. Breakfasts were excellent - with the bonus of being able to eat on a terrace overlooking Venice. Our suite was well furnished and immaculately clean. Staff were delightful.

Location is the best for visiting Venice. The island of Lido has great restaurants, a nice beach, and away from the masses in Venice. A 15 min water taxi gets you anywhere you want to go.
