Location is spectacular. Staff is friendly, very good English speakers (if that is a concern). The dogs are lazy and funny (a little yippy if that bothers some people, it did not bother us). Minutes away from town by car.

Villa Poggiano was perfect! Stefania and Gaia were so helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The property is gorgeous and so peaceful. We enjoyed swimming in the pool in the morning and watching the spectacular sunset in the evening. There is a nice selection of wine available. We loved sipping our delicious wine while gazing at the beautiful countryside. It is close to many locations but you need a car or taxi. The rooms are so spacious and beautifully decorated. I prefer a less firm bed, so this is the only thing I would change.

Only suggestion might be to have a cheese, bread, nuts, fruit plate to offer those who don’t want to drive into town (and park and walk steep hills) for a 7:30 dinner (when the restaurants re-open), not to mention driving on unfamiliar roads in the the dark to return to the villa. Willing to pay a price for the cheese, etc. plate to avoid the hassle! The time at the villa enjoying the views and sunset are too priceless!

The villa was lovely beyond words. Wonderful walking trails, beautiful vistas of olive groves and vineyards, complete quiet, other than the roosters in the background at sunrise! Owner is passionate about carefully restoring this place to its full beauty of over 300 years ago.

Stefania and her team are the most amazing people. From arranging a picnic, arranging flowers, arranging taxis and so much more. They went above and beyond. We stayed there and had our elopement throughout Tuscany and Stefania helped us with any thing we needed. It was just amazing The view from the grounds are just stunning There’s also a laundry if you like to wash your clothes

A beautiful Villa in a wonderful location. Our room was clean, comfortable and super spacious. The comprehensive breakfast offered was delicious. Staff were courteous and friendly. In a quiet location this is the perfect hotel for a relaxing stay. The beautiful gardens and pool area are well maintained and have beautiful views over the valley. We loved our stay at Villa Poggiano and will be recommending it to our friends.

From the moment we arrived and drove through the cypress lined drive, we were welcomed by the gracious host. Our room was truly lovely and more than we hoped for. The property was truly stunning and very relaxing. The pool area was amazing and very chilled place to relax. The breakfast was great with very tasty offerings from the menu. The whole place was very clean and kept clean throughout our stay. Stephanie and her team were always helpful to recommend places to visit and restaurants to eat in. We were sorry to leave as we had such a wonderful time. We would highly recommend Stephanie’s Villa to anyone who would like to have a relaxing holiday in an amazing surroundings.

We loved the location, tucked in a Tuscany Forest that we enjoyed walking around and breathing fresh air. Nice pool and very complete breakfast. Breathtaking views in the surroundings and it felt like we were in our own vintage cottage in Tuscany; it really felt like we were living there. Our room had many unique features; we stayed at the main house. Room was very spacious and comfortable. If you are looking for a place to work, good WIFI and a desk in our suite.

They came into our rooms morning and night and turned our aircon off. It was 38 degrees each day during our stay. The main thing to note is that the taxi each way to the town is €20 per group, about a 5 minute drive and not walkable at night as it is hilly, very windy and dark.

The property was stunning! The pool area was lovely, very quiet and relaxing. The views from both of our rooms were beautiful.

Beautiful property in excellent location with wonderful views, well maintained and spotlessly clean. The facilities were exceptional and the staff were warm and friendly and provided good advice and information. We were lucky to be there for an opera performance in the grounds of the property.

Villa Poggiano offered us the perfect getaway! It is surrounded by fantastic views, staff are extremely helpful and attentive and the villa itself is beautiful and well kept. The pool area was our favourite spot as it is serene and provides guests with a beautiful environment to relax in. Location is also excellent as it is only a 5 minutes away by car from restaurants and the town of Montepulciano. Highly recommended!

The breakfast options were fairly limited but I always found something delicious. There also is no restaurant on-site so you do need to travel (10 mins by car) for options, but they did offer a small lunch menu if you ordered in advance over breakfast which was useful!

Stunning setting with rolling hills all around, impressive well-kept grounds and rustic Tuscan architecture. While being easily accessible by car, it felt truly secluded and all you could hear was nature. The pool area was stunning with enough sun beds for all guests (only 18 rooms). The host was fantastic - we had been in contact before our arrival to organise a day of wine tours on e-bikes which she did seamlessly (and incredibly well worth it to explore Montepulciano in a different way, very cost-effectively). The host also booked all of our lunches, dinners and taxis, making recommendations and everything just so easy. It was a wonderful experience all around and no doubt we will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Poggiano despite poor weather. The outdoor gardens and pool area were great places to relax. Breakfast was excellent and the property was very secure with easy car parking access. The laundry was a real bonus.Our room in the main building was much larger than we expected.

The only thing I would say is that the beds are very very firm and I like a bed to be more cushy but I round return in a heartbeat.

it is beautiful in every way. the rooms are lovely and well equipped and they have an incredible breakfast. The owner Stefana was fantastic and gave us so many great ideas and suggested an snacking cooking class, fun restaurants etc.
