Near the hotel is located the restaurant ”Il Tamburino” (idk why they do not give the bill with everything calculated, just a piece of paper with the final price, I warn you to make the calculations yourself (been here twice and both times got a higher bill than we have consumed in reality).

the staying at the hotel was nice, mostly I liked the beach, it is quiet and located near the hotel, also the breakfast - as a recommendation please add more vegetables. If you need something, the staff can help you! (Laura is the best!).

Facility is tiny bit dated. First room key scanner did not work but 2nd room was very nice. Less than 10 min walk to torre farro. Taxi ride diver overchrged but hey, you are in sicily!

Feont desk Laura was great! Helped with check in, suggested dinner options, very personable.

The bathroom in the room floods when you take a shower. The toilet flush wasn't working properly and leaked water on the floor as well. The beds were ok but the cushions were very flat.

I've booked a room for myself and 2 other friends. The part with a single bed had light but the one with a double bed didn't. I've never seen a hotel that doesn't have lights in the ceiling, only bedside lamps. How are we supposed to get dressed at night? It also took ages to get back from staff when we requested additional towels or toilet paper.

Pool and breakfast were amazing. Private beach was also great with good accomodations. Friendly staff and amenities nearby like supermarket and restaurants.

there could be more information at the reception about places to visit and things to do, specially because not all people speak foreign languages

We had breakfast at the bistro and it was great very good coffee!! Hotel is very near to the beach 10 min walk and there are also many good restaurants in the area.

    Short stay during the pandemic

The rooms had very limited minibar (just water), no possibility of making a coffee or a tea in the room. The electricity in the room was off when an iron got connected. The air conditioning in the bedroom seemed to work only sometimes. The interior was a little outdated for the price. Unfortunately, due to pandemic restrictions we were not able to use facilities as gym or swimming pool, therefore no feedback on that.

The hotel is very close to the bus stop to Messina and a supermarket. The junior suit room was large, beds comfortable and a nice terrace with a view. The staff was nice and helpful when challenges with the stay occurred. The cleaning staff was very good. A large selection of coffee, tea, freshly squeezed juices was offered in the bar during the breakfast period. The breakfasts were light - very Italian - mainly biscuits.

The service is very poor : It rained one evening and our bath towels were on the balcony drying but got wet from the rain. The next morning when I asked if I could have 2 towels as mine were wet, they refused and said they didn't have any to spare. Reminded me of the Seinfeld episode when Elaine wouldn't share her toilet paper. For a 4 star hotel, their staff are pretty much in the 2 star category.

Despite we were three they would only leave towels for two and we had to constantly ask for toiletries and toilet paper. When we asked for the 3rd towel the manager asked the receptionist to go with the cleaner in our room despite she had on her rota that she only had left towels for two. The worst thing was that she asked where was the 3rd person. Breakfast had lots of cakes but other things such as eggs, tomatoes, cheese was very limited. No toasters were available. Cleanliness was below average in the rooms. It seems that they only made up the bed. The property is in need of maintenance. Tiles were loose.

    Spacious room and hall. Quiteness

The hotel is very run down and badly in need of refurbishment, with dirty walls and paint flaking throughout the hotel. We purchased disinfectant wipes to clean our bathroom floors of hair and dirt. No hot water in the bathrooms in the afternoon, just in the morning. The bedroom carpets hadn’t been vacuumed properly for a while. The balconies were unusable due to their condition. No tea / coffee making facilities in rooms, just mineral water which we had to pay for. No iron available in rooms, or even on request, to borrow for a short while. Breakfast - very limited options, no fresh orange juice, very small selection of fruit. The staff all seemed unenthusiastic and not friendly - no one asking how you are or saying good morning. I travel a lot and stay in many hotels - this is first time no one asked how my stay was when checking out. I think that says it all. Might have been worthy of 4 stars when it opened many years ago, but definitely not now. Poor quality, poor service, poor cleanliness.

Location was suitable for us - we were visiting family in the same town. We took two rooms which were average size and the beds were reasonably comfortable. The bar was the only modern and acceptable part of the hotel. Pool has some loungers available.

Broken balcony window! Quite dangerous The spa was closed, disappointing as I was looking forward to a few treatment, aslo the gym was close. The restaurant served lunch but you had to book and sometimes was close The bistro had a good menu but at lunch only served chips cold meats platters and salads.. asked for a burger they said only at dinner The dinner menu was better but still very limited

Place is big and airy had a tennis court and a swimming pool. Room were spacious and clean Good variety of italyan and german style breakfast The food was good

The playground wasn’t opened. The beachfront wasn’t set up. The restaurant wasn’t open and they said when it is, you have to book it weeks ahead, which doesn’t make sense because we had our room there. They said they weren’t set up for the season and it doesn’t start for two more weeks. I don’t understand why they let people come. It didn’t have anything to do with Corona Virus, like Customer Service from booking.com said. The hotel said they weren’t set up for the season yet.

    The location was nice.
