The reception staff sometimes couldn't answer my questions. I asked if there were any tours available they said no. I also had a question about the station stairs that light up but it seems they didn't know or didn't understand. Otherwise great.

The hotel staff are not flexible. We try to cancel the booking immediately after booking which is two days ahead of stay, they don’t allow. They have room available when we check in, but they will charge additional 1000 Yen per hour before 3pm. Never see any hotel like this outside Japan.

Machines for check-in feel impersonal. It is probably helpful for language. I needed the helpful staff. No cows milk for breakfast cereal.

The breakfast spread was very limited for vegetarian. There were quite some local cuisine options, but very limited international options.

The location of the hotel is bang opposite to Kyoto main station. Hotel was absolutely clean and well maintained, staff are helpful and attentive.

The bathroom smelled like sewer, the room had balls of dust in the corners, could be cleaned better!

Prime location next to airport shuttle bus, at Kyoto station and next to bullet train! Right next to Don Quito which is opened 24 hours. Plenty of good options around the area! Free drinks/soup downstairs from 2-8pm, I even had a matcha latte that was legitimate. The room was very big in Japan standards. Short bus/train ride to Gion, Nishiki Market. Friendly staff, very helpful when sending luggage to airport!

For 3 days the internet doesn't work and we had to use our mobile data. Carpet very dirty not only in the room but in all the areas of the hotel.

Location is good , near the main train station , however, the direction or signs are unclear , and there is 2 Keihan hotel nearby, so walking to the hotel was a nightmare especially you arrived in the late afternoon for tourists who new to the area.We asked about Christmas dinner and no one at the check in counter know about this event, I had to shown them an advertisement which located next to the counter- still had no answers!! So we had to walk to the restaurant the second floor for enquiry.We found that to purchase the sight seeing passes - was confused as all of the train stations were in a long distant, we also took a train from Kyoto station to connect the sight seeing line. It took longer as again no clear direction. Had no photos at the lobby as very crowded and was not the place you wanted to be.

Next to the shopping centre ( can access via the hotel lift directly)and 7/11 is located just next door.Comfortable beds, but put 3 beds in the same size of twin room was very crowded.

The check in/out machines. Very poor service for a hotel of this standard. Staff were being used to assist travellers to check in via the machines! After a day travelling to hotel all you want is to be greeted by a friendly face welcoming you & advising of hotel facilities etc instead you get pointed to a machine which you then have to navigate & a key is spate out at you. At no point were we given a run down of our dinning options or hotel facilities. This hotel is my worse check in experience after years of travelling

Hotel needs better upkeeping. Room is dusty. The toilet bowl is dirty, toilet smells & has mold. I did not like that they did not provide mineral water. It would only be given if we choose the ECO cleaning.

This Hotel location is good. It is just beside the premium limousine bus station to KIX. Kyoto station is just opp the hotel.
