Extremely comfortable and spacious accommodation in a very convenient location, literally just a few minutes' walk from the main attractions in Miyajima. The accommodation is a two-storey house with two western bedrooms and a very large bathroom on the lower floor and a Japanese style area upstairs. The upstairs area can be used as a sitting area or could also be used as another sleeping area, with futons. Inside the host's house at the front is a lounge area, eating area and tea and coffee-making facilities. The host was lovely, friendly, very informative and spoke English well.

Rie was welcoming as soon as we arrived! She was attentive and made sure that my family and I were comfortable during our stay. She even handled arranging Yamato for our luggages once we checked out! Highly recommend staying here if you are planning an overnight stay on the island!

We stayed in mid November. I believe there is separate heat in each room so, the bedroom we stayed in was cozy but, the rest of the house was quite chilly. The beds were very firm.

Host met us at the door was kind and very helpful with information about the island and getting around Miyajima. Home is a beautiful Japanese home and located perfectly away from the hustle in town but, close enough to be convienent. Host provides hot water, tea and coffee, bottled water.

The host was exceptionally helpful in recommending sights to see and food to eat. We had the most delicious meal at The Miyama Restaurant which she recommended. We had a lovely stay!

Had a traditional Japanese feel with modern amenities. Was very close to the sites we wanted to visit, and to traditional Japanese restaurants.

Being a local resident,the owner is quite helpful in introducing the island and recommending different ways to explore. The house is authentic Japanese style, has two restrooms and a huge bathroom, with a spacious living space on the second floor. Plenty of amenities provided and really comfortable beds. Staying over night on Miyajima, offers a chance to feel the tranquility of this beautiful world heritage site. A stroll down the beach beside the grand Torii after waves of guests leaving the island brings completely different, and in my view certainly more charming, sense to the trip.

Everything was great

Our host, Nakaya, was extremely friendly and helpfully! We tried to buy tickets for a football match in Osaka and were lost in translations. She did not give up and found where to buy the tickets and did it for us. Next day she travelled with us to print the tickets in the harbour of Miyamijagucchi. Nakaya speaks English very well. It was nice to chat with her and get all the nice advice, e.g. where to have dinner, where to swim, what to visit. The house is also very nice. On the first floor, Japanese style living and sleeping room, on the ground floor Western style bed rooms, kitchen and living room.

Fantastic personal service from the owner who waited for us after we missed our ferry. Offered her help the next day and gave us an umbrella because rain was pouring and we did not have enough umbrellas.

Nothing bad to say really!

A lovely place, we have been well recieved, the host speak english really well. She was a perfect host, we recieved all informations we needed, restaurants, stores recommandations etc... I can't find a way to make it a better place, it was perfect.
