How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

to a spa where you can bring children - the pool is cold, very uncomfortable, we go specifically so that the child can swim (last time it was also cold), probably because of this we won’t go again

I didn't manage to turn on the TV. The ruins of the former Soviet building opposite the hotel look ugly.

The hotel premises were not as clean as in the previous years. Some parts of the carpet looked a bit worn off. The air conditioner was not working, and it was hot in the room during the day-time.
SPA premises were very good. Air temperature could be warmer. Very nice breakfast and service.

Spa facilities didn't meet my expectations - water in jacuzzi baths was lukewarm, especially in adult only area. Swimming pool water was super cold, you could only go in there after warming up well. Equipment in the steam rooms (all 3 of them) was making loud noises, so it was difficult to relax
the hotel matched my expectations, excellent service and tasty food at the restaurant, as well as good choice for breakfast. Comfy and warm room, with everything one might need.

Only negative was on Saturday night there were some people outside talking sometimes in front of the hotel, maybe from the restaurant partying or something.
Hotell was very clean and well maintained constantly. Spa was small and cozy, everything you needed was there. Staff were always welcoming and caring. Exceptional breakfast choises and tastes. Room was also comfortable, quiet and every detail thought through, the bed was so soft and wide. Definetely would want to visit again.

We were shocked with the person's who cleaned our room behaviour - the first morning after a short walk we returned to the room to find our pyjamas on the floor. The choice of dishes in the meniu was quite limited and if you don't eat seafood, you have very few to choice from which is especially bad if you stay for long.
The room was big enough with a comfortable bed, the spa was great, not many people. The view to the pine forest. The location was not bad, near to the sea.

Costly travel from and to the airport. Count on €20 for only 15 min drive
We were not able to enjoy the spa, late arrival and early leave. Good quality food in the restaurant, nice seats around the fire place

Charge for electric cars for extra fee even for hotel guest . Limited parking places .
Exceptional SPA quality .Stuff manage to keep highest level of service for quite long periods of several decades.One of the best collection of procedure with outstanding quality of oils, creams scrubs ...etc.Well arranged breakfast with wide verities of delicious and nutritious food with local touch. Standard room has two different zone ( bedroom+lobby ). Comfortable cozy compartment with good forrest view .

We really enjoyed our massages. The bed was very comfortable, clean room and all other areas, staff were lovely, polite and helpful. Adult spa area was nice, but missing sauna. The welcome chocolates were a nice addition. Would recommend staying there for a weekend. Was very relaxing and lovely.

Front parking is small, and the other one is quite far from the hotel entrance.
Great food, extremely polite and professional staff, relaxing spa facilities. Loved the cosy atmosphere and festive (Christmasy) food for breakfast. Very quiet room.

While it was nice to have live music at the restaurant during our dinner, it was a bit too loud. I think it would be great of they could inform the guests about live music when booking the tables and ask if the guests would like to sit closer or further. Nonetheless, this is a super tiny thing to not like.
The spa was the absolute highlight for us! Incredible masages, hot tub and saunas specifically for adults were really great! Breakfast was also outstanding.
