The weather!

Friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast and delicious dinner. A great location for walking (especially when the rainy season is over!) and visiting interesting local attractions.

No hot water in the morning for showers though. Not sure if something was wrong.

The attic room had 4 beds; 2twin and 2 queen. Great for my family. Shared bathroom which was weird for the children but was great. Great dinner and breakfast! It was snowing and raining so we didn’t get to explore the property but looked very nice for a non-wet day. Would stay here again!

The location was both awesome and remote and difficult to reach. It is a great location and the property is beautiful but it is kind of difficult to reach there from Luxembourg. At any given cost, don't take the mud road suggested by google or you will get stuck in a giant muddy puddle. We were really lucky to pull our car out somehow. This route suggestion is of course not the hotel's mistake. It was suggested by google.

staff was great. The lady at the reception waited for us beyond her work hours because we were delayed. We didn't get the breakfast as we were too tired. Bathroom can be better. The water came out of the shower because of no proper drainage/shower cubicle door. The entire bathroom was wet.

Bed was quite soft with a bit of a pit in the middle.

Breakfast was really good, room was spacious. Dinner in the restaurant is recommended.

It was a quaint 1000 year old mill full of character and charm set in beautiful gardens

As expected from an older building, the walls were very thin. I could hear the tenant above me snorring.

The food was nice, not super pricey. The location was amazing, there were at least 4 walking trails as soon as you walked out the door

The doors were very loud and squeaky and with the shared bathroom it resulted into an interrupted night sleep.

A very idyllic place with a decent spot to store a bicycle. Dinner and breakfast were very good.

Did not like the fact having no own bathroom. In the single room the bed was too small. More the feeling of a youth hostel rather than hotel.

Calm location. Nice diner in the evening. Restaurant OK even if not everything was available on the menu. Breakfast in the morning was OK.

Very far from everything, the food in the restaurant is good but it took us almost two hours to get the meals to be served. Staff could do with being a little more friendly.

I'm REALLY tall, too tall for the beds which have a footer. As such I didn't have the best night and ended up putting the mattress on the floor. We had 3 rooms for our family, 2 of which were missing curtains or blinds, so early mornings for us.

Moulin d'Asselborn is amazing it's really peaceful and perfectly situated in northern Luxembourg. The food is AMAZING and always a treat on the last night of our holidays. Staff are very friendly and as an added bonus there is now an EV car charger available. 22kw type 2 attached cable. It's about 17e and reserved for guests. Really got us out of a tight fix.

Bunk room had a fair bit of noise from the corridor. Bed was a bit too soft.

Beautiful peaceful and secluded location. Great little rustic playground for kids and a stream with bridges for stick races. Old paddle wheels and millstream add so much charm. The restaurant and coffee are top notch. Facilities are very nicely upgraded

The ceiling light fixtures didn't match the style of the room with led bulbs dipping the room into a cold, yet insufficient light.

The room was cosy and pleasantly cool in the evenings and throughout these very hot summer nights. Breakfast was great with a buffet featuring fresh fruit and fruit salads, yoghurt, eggs, cold meats and cheese. The bread was fresh and absolutely delicious as were the viennoiseries. The location of the hotel within a well appointed nature reserve (Life, Natura 2000) is second to none.

Limited parking spots available.

Comfy and quiet rooms. Nice dinner with good menu selection. Breakfast was small but enough. Large playground and yard area for kids to play at. Very easy access to trails and walking areas.
