It would be great to have more fruit with the breakfast. It was delicious but there was too much bread. We missed more fiber.

Hassan and his team’s purpose is to make you feel like home and he achieves to do so. The riad is brand new and super clean. The staff is kind, the breakfast is delicious, the pool is big and the whole place is beautiful. If we come back to Morocco, we will book Darchica again.

The pool was empty on one of the days of our stay. After a day of walking on a hot and sunny afternoon in the medina, my husband and I arrived at the Riad eager for the pool, but we found it empty. When we asked, they told us they were replacing the water with clean water. We were really disappointed with the situation because the main criterion for choosing this Riad was the pool. We paid for an experience and did not get it. We also found it strange that they had to empty the entire pool to replace the water. Anyway... If the pool is an important criterion for choosing the Riad, I recommend confirming during the reservation if the pool will be available. This was the only negative point, and if it weren't for this, my rating would certainly be 10.

The Riad is new, the decoration is beautiful, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the breakfast is very tasty. The location is very good. The pool is larger than the average pools in other Riads. The standout feature is the staff, especially Hassan (the manager), who makes a point of treating guests with care and special attention, making us feel like family. I got a stomach illness, and Hassan took care of me with great affection and concern. If I had to summarize Riad Darchica in a few words, I would say it is a charming and welcoming place that makes us feel nostalgic when we leave.

Excellent location, right in the heart of the Medina and within walking distance of most attractions. The staff were outstanding, making us feel at home as soon as we arrived - Hassan is the front of house manager and nothing is too much trouble for him, he is a truly great asset and now a great friend. The food at the Riad is exceptional, breakfast was great, standard Moroccan fare of breads, jams, honey, fresh orange juice etc. We also had tagines cooked for us which were delicious and the rooms are beautifully clean and tidy. If you are looking for a home from home but with 5* service, this is the place. The pool is an added bonus especially as it can get very hot in the summer.

Only downside was that my door opens to the pool where the rest of the guests are having their breakfast. I'd rather a room that I can freely open up my curtains.

Recommendable to the fullest! We are so glad we found this riad! It was such a warm hearted welcome that made us feel like home. This feeling got confirmed during the stay. Hassan the man and host is doing his job at its best! He makes your stay so enjoyable, as well as giving you the places where to get the best impressions of Marrakesh. You can communicate really well in English with him, which makes it easy with the communication. The rooms look very nice and clean. Moroccan interior, what we were happy about! This is what we came for, when we decided to visit Morocco. With Soukaina in the kitchen and the rest of the team providing you an unforgettable stay, we are happy to chose this incredible looking riad! Such a great time :) We are totally recommend it. Hassan, we miss your moroccan vibe. Take care of Soukaina and hope to see you sometime in the future again.

Everything was great and we highly recommend others to stay, our only small remarks were the door in the bathroom wouldn't close (just needs to be fixed) and there were noisy guys playing music during the afternoon and coming in late which woke us two of the nights - this was a shame because it took away from the tranquility of the riad.

We just arrived home from 3 nights in Riad Darchica and had a lovely stay! The location is perfect!! Easy to reach everything but quiet and peaceful at the same time. Hassan is very kind, welcoming and attentive. He really takes care to look after you giving advice of places to go and is genuinely interested about you and your stay. Breakfast on the rooftop was lovely (the rooftop is really beautiful!), with eggs, breads, pastries and fresh tea/coffee each morning and the rooms nicely decorated Lastly, don't skip the street to the right of the Riad, great for stroll and less touristy than other places.

A fantastic experience. Riad Darchica is an oasis of peace, tranquility and home. Close to the center, 10 minutes walk through the wonderful Moroccan market. Hassan is responsible for all of the above. Wonderful person, like an older brother who advises you, who introduces you to the wonderful Arab culture and customs. I recommend talking to him daily, drinking tea and exchanging opinions and customs. Thank you Hassan, your country is incredible and even more so, if possible, if you are part of it. The only bonus would have been the ability to have snacks but breakfast was simple and nutritious.

The facilities are very good value for the rate. Staff and owner cannot do enough to help and guide. We had a very relaxing stay so quiet in what is one of the busiest cities. The location is perfect too.

Hassan and Soukaina took really good care of me and my friend. The riad is very clean and we loved to chill on the terrace. The neighborhood isn’t also that busy, which was very nice. Our check out was very early, but Hassan still took time to make us some tea and walk with us outside to grab a taxi! Will definitely stay here again.

Loved everything about Riad Darchica, I had such a wonderful stay here solo. The manager Hassan was so incredibly welcoming and kind throughout, as well as the owner Jerome. I felt I was in a home away from home. It’s absolutely beautifully designed, sparkling clean, and in fantastic part of the city. I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful, chic but homely stay. Wish I could have stayed for longer.
