We arrived at night and there was a little bit of walk (c. 500-600m) in the middle of the night from the taxi drop off at the medina gates to the property. Fortunately there was someone helping us with the luggage and the riad arrange both the taxi pickup from the airport as well as luggage support for the walk to the property so all was good.

The staff was very friendly and suprised us with the small birthday cake for our daughter, who turned 16 the day we checked-in. We asked for it last moment and the staff did very well to arrange it, exceeded our expecations by far with this. Overall this riad has lovely decor and allows to escape the crowds of the medina. Rooms are located on multiple levels.

Very beautiful riad , the room was very good and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The location was amazing very close to many sites and the markets and also easy accessible location on a central road. I would definable recommend it.

The only problem was the bathroom because the washbasin was very small and far so we had to bend but water still comes out and we have to wipe it each time. The shower area did not have a door so water came out also in that case or you have to stand still in a place to avoid that it happens. The bedroom is not soundproof so you can hear people talk in the Riad at night which can interrupt your sleep easily. These are some little problems but they don’tt affect your whole stay that much as the rest is absolutely amazing !!!

I liked everything

I loved everything. To be in a Riad gives you this intimate feeling of being in a locals house. The place is very cute, the room is spacious and clean, the service was outstanding and the breakfast is lovely - home made options, everything tasted great.

Air conditioning was not working. Toilet door was not closing properly.

Good location very close to Jema el fna and walking distance to a lot of attractions. Very nice calm Riad with excellent courtyard. Terrace with multiple levels was great. Good breakfast. Staff were nice and polite

This is a beautiful riad with so many lovely pieces and touches. The location is excellent if you want to be in the Medina. The pool and roof terrace are great places to relax and enjoy in between trips, excursions and walks around the city. I would love to return.

The only disadvantage is that one must carry the luggage for 6 minutes or so as the Riad is not accessible by car. But people eager to carry baggage are always around.

A really lovely very Moroccan Riad. Charmingly and artfully decorated full of flowery plants. Interesting shops in the Souk around and some good restaurants.

Riad Lyla was perfect for our first trip to Marrakech. - The location was great, it was easy to walk to everything in the medina. - The courtyard was really beautiful and a peaceful place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room was also lovely. - Mohammed and Ayoub were very welcoming and helpful. - The breakfast was delicious.

This Riad is in an excellent location in the heart of the medina, but in a quiet area just off the street. The staff are brilliant with Ayoub, Mohamed and the other staff being friendly, welcoming, accommodating and very hospitable to us throughout our stay. Would highly recommend this riad to anyone looking to go to Marrakech!

We had a fab. 6 night stay in this Beautifully decorated and comfortable Riad. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit special. Their kindness and consideration was exceptional. Everything was considered and catered to our comfort.On one evening we had a private dinner in the Riad. The food was delicious, professionally served and the icing on the cake was that a huge log fire was made especially for us without us requesting it. So thoughtful and much appreciated. We loved it all.

Our room faced the street where the main entrance is. Like in most Riads the insulation is a bit lacking and you might hear loud noises especially at early hours.. so for light sleepers consider earplugs.

Very good location! Walkable distance to most attractions. The room was clean, spaciousness, you have tee and coffee at your disposal in the room, delicious breakfast, very friendly staff who is ready to help at any times and a nice rooftop. The courtyard is just breathtaking!

Nothing!

Set in the Medina, tucked away in a quiet side alleyway. It’s very close to the souks and central square. Everyth8g is within walking distance. The rooms were very clean and comfortably furnished. The staff were exceptional especially Mohamad who couldn’t have been more helpful. We would highly recommend satiating here and if we visit Marrakech again we would definitely stay here.

Everything really! The staff is super nice and helpful with advice. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh products and super good cooking. And what a view from the rooftop. The place is beautiful and feels like a fairy-tale. The room was large and well decorated. The location is super central, just a few minutes away from Koutoubia and Jemaa el Fna. I have recommended it and will continue to do so in the future.
