Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

South KoreaIt was great experience staying here. The Riad was so cozy and warm. I felt that I am on a real holiday. The room and facilities are clean and managed well. The staff are so warm and kind. I do not know how to explain it, but you can instantly feel that the host and staff genuinely want you to stay as if it's your home, something that you cannot feel even in a luxury hotel. There are cute turtle friends and birds in the lovely garden. You can find new flowers everyday in your room and in the little fountain in the garden. Nice breakfast. Good location. (A taxi can come into the street where the Riad is.)

DenmarkRiad Noga, nestled in Marrakech's medina, exudes extraordinary beauty and hospitality. The staff's kindness knows no bounds; one day, when I faced internet troubles and lost my driver, the manager personally escorted me to my destination, refusing any payment. It's a place where genuine care and generosity define the experience, making every moment unforgettable.

United KingdomGreat customer service, all the staff were exceptionally helpful. We had breakfast set up for us before our check out time today which was also greatly appreciated. The staff also helped to organise a taxi from the airport to the riad. Gabriele the manager was really helpful in pointing us in the direction of the best things to do in Marrakesh and what to avoid. Great breakfast with fresh jams, bread etc. Very beautiful Riad!

GermanyWe stayed in the White Room and sometimes it was a little loud. We could hear the guests staying above us and unfortunately the staff couldn't do anything about it, though they really wanted to help us, because the upper room was a part of another riad next to us.
This riad is a one of a kind oasis in the center of the bustling medina of Marrakesh, offering a quiet and romantic hideaway after a long and exhausting day of exploring. The riad has lots of little corners worth exploring with interesting little details and some amazing rooftop terraces. The staff was really nice and helpful, always in a good and happy mood. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of tasty breads, fresh juice, tea, coffee, though be prepared to eat lots of sweet stuff (jams, honey). On request the staff will be more than happy to prepare also eggs and scrambled eggs for you. There is also the possibility to order dinner, which we also tried and everything was tasty and fresh. The rooms are clean and the architecture of the building is really authentic and gorgeous.

RomaniaNo particular complains. Overall, Riad Noga is a great place located in a quiet neighborhood of Marrakech. Definitely spend some time there if you get the chance. And a small recommendation: if you get there by car make sure you plan carefully your GPS route. As of the time I'm writing this review, Google Street View is not available in Morocco and most of the maps are outdated. Therefore you'll find out that not all the streets in Marrakech are accessible by car even though your navigation app asks you to drive through them. It would be best if you set some way-points along the large boulevards / avenues and only when you reach the closest one to the Noga, navigate towards the destination (actually the Noga itself is not reachable by car but you have a parking place really close by - set that as your destination). Otherwise, trying to go directly through the old town would most likely fail.
Beautiful architecture and interior design. An incredible blend between past and present. You'll definitely spend a few hours just enjoying the place itself. The personnel was very polite and helpful. The room was incredible. Very good breakfast though a bit more options would have been great. Regardless of this, the products were fresh and I particularly enjoyed the locally baked bread :)
