Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainEverything was great.
My wife and I loved this place for multiple reasons. The environment was very relaxing. Before arriving in the hotel, we had initially planned to visit Ait Ben Haddou, however, we decided to stay in the hotel because it was very peaceful. Furthermore, our room was very beautiful and the bed was very comfy. The dinner was fantastic!! the chef made an awesome dinner that it was the best dinner we had in our stay in Morocco. We totally recommend this hotel if you are travelling in the South of Morocco.

United KingdomThat the toilet is in a tiny cubicle in the bathroom with no window, makes it awkward for some couples!
Firstly, our host was the most welcoming, kind and informative person we have ever encountered on a trip. Warm and professional and exactly someone who makes a trip one to remember! Staying in this oasis was exactly what we needed after a hard road trip. The place is beautiful, it has a pool that is clean and sunbeds that are comfortable! The dinner was a wonderful fusion of Moroccan and French cuisine so I'd definitely recommend trying it. The staff are lovely, rooms are immaculately clean and the breakfast was great. Definitely recommend.

GermanyWe spent one night at Tigminou stopping over on our trip from Marrakech to M'Hamid. Immediately after arrival we realized, that one night was not enough time to enjoy the peace and calmness this place offers. Johanna and Fabrice were lovely and welcoming hosts that made us feel comfortable from the first moment on. The whole area is nicely designed with a pool, a common area under a tarp and nice bungalows as rooms with walk-in showers and a very subtle but charming decoration. The bed and duvet were the most comfortable we had in Morocco leading to great recovery. We had a three course dinner which was a very delicious mix of French and Moroccan cuisine. Great, just great! Also breakfast was extensive with delicious crepes and fresh made orange juice. Thank you so much, Johanna and Fabrice, for this great stay and experience. Keep up the great spirit!

PortugalWe really enjoyed our stay here, the owner was super welcoming and even recommended an awesome place for us to have dinner as we didn't book dinner at tigminou in advance. The breakfast was so good and moroccan pancakes still have a special place in my heart. We stayed here on our way to the desert but would've loved to spend more time here. Thanks for an awesome stay!

CanadaA beautiful oasis in the desert in a quiet village outside of the busy city. The gardens are immaculate and the onsite donkey was charming. The owner goes over and above to help guests with trip planning and ensure a comfortable stay. The food was incredible. We had dinner in one night and chose to go out the second night and regretted our choice! This is an excellent location if you are visiting Ait Ben Haddou and we appreciated the "adults only" zen! The owners effortlessly provide a high service standard of European hospitality as well as a dedication to eco- sustainability and social responsibility. This is one of the only places we found in Morocco that was actively trying to recycle and find creative ways to reduce and manage their waste. I also appreciated their focus on working to promote the local community and offer hospitality internships to the young people in the area. Thank-you for an amazing stay and all of your wonderful trip recommendations!

HungaryThe whole atmosphere was lovely with the beautiful garden and cozy buildings. The hosts were very kind and we saw that they are doing this with full of heart and passion. The rooms are separated and private with their own gardens. You should really try their dinner offering with its delicious dishes. Actually everything, the location is beautiful with a view of the Atlas Mountains. A few kilometers from Aït-ben-haddou. Neat, spacious apartments with their own seating area. Very friendly host and delicious food. (And they serve alcohol, which is not everywhere in Morocco) Definitely recommended!

United StatesMy only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.
Pictures really didn’t do this place justice. The rooms are in a beautiful garden. And they are very large and comfortable rooms. But, the main reasons to visit are easy proximity to Ait Benhaddou and a truly great restaurant with well-chosen wines. Johanna is a great host with lots of helpful suggestions. Truly, a great experience overall. Would not hesitate to return for a longer stay.
