It's kinda disappointing that there's no shared area in one of the building but the other one is quite close so that's ok. Also the bed are moving so if you have a mover behind you, get ready to feel every earthquake.

The owner is amazing, the location is perfect.

Located in the heart of the city center. Very nice staff, very clean and well equipped kitchen. The common room is great and has the view of one of Kotor's most beautiful plazas !

The common room and kitchen are in another building (close by) and in my opinion that's a pity. When the old town is busy with concerts and people you'll listen everything but usually it ends early enough to sleep.

The room had aircon and lockers (a bit small for some suitcases). Each bunk bed had a curtain for more privacy. The bathroom had all necessary stuff and was clean although we were 10 people sharing it. Staff were friendly and accomodating. It's located right in the middle of everything you wanna see in Kotor.

I booked a 6bed Dorm and was given a 10 bed Dorm. Beds looked very unstable It was hard speaking with the staff. They manage 2 structures and in mine i never saw somebody at the reception.

The staff was inattentive. First, they handed me the wrong keys that wouldn't lock the room door. Also, I got a key from the lock but no lock itself (luckily I had mine). Then, when I wanted to pay, they said they don't have change and I should come back at 7pm. I went and they still didn't have it. They told me to go change myself and give an exact amount. The other thing that happened to my bunk mate was that the staff assigned her a bed, and then re-assigned the same bet to another guy who came an hour later. She came back at 11pm and there was someone else's stuff on the bed. She called the hostel and they got her a new bed and admitted their mistake, but still, for the price (which is over 20 euros per night per bed) you'd expect a good service. Also, the toilet in the 10 bed dormitory wasn't clean. They cleaned it only one time a day, and left 2 rolls of toilet paper, which would be finished in a few hours... I stayed in a second building with 10 bed dorms, and the sign said that there's a common room upstairs. There wasn't, only a place where the laundry and sheets were placed. Why not removong a sign in order to not mislead people?

The bed was comfortable and had a curtain. The location is great.

The table and chairs on the living room were not very comfortable and small Would be nice to add some sofas and confortable chairs to relax. Loud in the night due to the location No event or activities organized by the hostel

not a negative, just something to be aware of - the shared bathroom has two showers with foldable doors (private and not see through), but you maybe showering in the room with someone in the cubicle next to you without a lock, if that worries you.

the bunk room was very comfortable, with privacy curtains, electricity points at each bunk and good sized, lockable lockers for your things. the hostel felt very comfortable. the hostel sent detailed instructions on how to find the hostel from the main gate - follow them, they are very helpful.

only 2 toilets and one of those is in the room with 2 showers so if someone was using that toilet the showers were unavailable, or if someone was in the shower and locked the door that meant only one toilet and no shower was available to anyone else. Another electric job would’ve been useful as there was often a queue to cook food as only the portable hob seemed to work. cushions or comfortable seats would be nice to have in the communal area instead of only wooden benches

good location, other guests were really friendly, bed was comfortable, good-sized locker with padlock provided for valuables, WiFi was good. jazz/Rick bar over the road played great music but definitely stale ear plugs if you stay in this hostel, and an eye mask if you’re a light sleeper as there are only thin drapes around the bunks.

It gets very loud at night as it is in the middle of all the bars but thats part of the great location. The internet didnt really reach our room that well, but otherwise it was a great place!

Self check in was a bit complicated, hostel is quite hard to find and is not located where Google maps says. Communicated with owner about arrival and that I had and then was disturbed by a volunteer at almost midnight who came in the room to chat when others were also sleeping. Locks in bathroom were tricky. Two showers and a toilet in one room which made it hard to shower as that meant there was essentially only one shower for the hostel.

Was sometimes difficult to find staff. Is very loud at night but that's not the hostels fault. I was in the second building and they said I could still use the common areas and kitchen in the main part of the hostel but I couldn't always get into that building which was a little frustrating

Good central location in old town. Chilled owner & excellent customer services from extremely well informed GILSON. The main place & facilities are "compact"... inside a very old stone building. The annex very close by has a few more dorms.

Locations in different buildings. Staff not always around. Front door was hard to lock at first. Good location.Clean. Good value. Nice Brazilian staff. Space was a bit tight. Hard to travel with luggage but overall a great spit.
