The pools are on the smaller side so there’s not a lot of lounge chairs unless you get out there early. That was my only issue.

The food was outstanding. The service was 20 out of 10. The property was immaculately clean.

I requested an upper-level room two months before check-in, but I was given a first-floor room right in front of the entertainment pool, which was very busy. That was disappointing.

The only downsides were the extra-paid lobster tail, which was very salty (we informed the staff twice), and the strange points and guest classification system on the beach.

The food was excellent and absolutely delicious. The service was perfectly organized, so everyone feels well taken care of and always knows where to go and what to do. Special thanks to the older lifeguard on the beach who was always kind and helped us find a place. The yoga classes and gym sessions were fantastic, and the hotel app was extremely helpful for ordering and organizing everything. Our room with a jacuzzi was simply amazing.

I cannot say enough good things about the Sun Palace. I have celiac disease and was so well accommodated, I will definitely be back. Efraim and Estriella were absolutely incredible and so kind! There was never a shortage of loungers on the pool or beach and Silvio (not sure if I spelled that right) made sure our drinks were never empty. Food was great, location was great, 11/10

Everyone was very nice and helpful. Everything was all inclusive but it surpass the expectations of a basic all inclusive. This resort is really hands on and priced the best experience ever. We will definitely visit again.

The overselling of the timeshare deals and other "perks" which turn out not to be perks at all was very frustrating. Said no when welcomed to the hotel, received multiple phone calls during our stay asking us to reconsider. The service at the Fuego restaurant was terrible both times we visited. The facilities for showering after check out and prior to leaving for the airport were quite basic.

Lovely resort, was nowhere near full capacity when we went which helped. Sun loungers always available, reservations in the restaurants were not difficult to come by. We were lucky enough to help release green turtle hatchlings. The two quieter pools were welcomed, the "party pool" was too much for us! Fantastic selection of food at breakfast. Service at the poolside and in the snack bar was excellent.

That we had to leave,and pushy sales pitches,. Transportation to meet shuttle was not clear,so we missed our ride. Ended up taking a scam taxi ride,over $225us.

We stayed at the property for during 4th of July holiday and they put on a phenomenal 4th of July event with multiple live bands, fire performers, fireworks, and even a bull riding rink. The restaurants for the evenings had good variety with the steakhouse being our favorite.

Amazing place overall. We went during a US holiday, so I was expecting some issues due to high occupancy. However, the resort doesn’t have a crazy amount of rooms, which allows for great restaurants (my standards are high), many available sun beds and excellent service. The room was amazing and perfectly clean. 10/10. The beach in front of it is very good. If you’re going during spring, just be mindful that the pool/beach get direct sun until 4-5pm.

That part of the beach is not great for swimming.

The facilities were good. The restaurants were mostly very good and the food at the buffets was fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful and keen to ensure that we had a good experience.

While the concierge desk is very helpful, they may try to offer a "free breakfast" at their sister property with a resort credit in exchange for listening to a 90 minute presentation. Just an FYI!

The location was amazing! Two beautiful pools overlooking the ocean. And the beach right there, easily accessible from the pool deck! The resort offered so many activities and shows. Between the 4 restaurants, the food was excellent. I would absolutely stay again!

The ocean was too intense to be able to swim in but the pools were wonderful and perfect temperature.

I liked the jacuzzi in the room after walking all over Cancun. The food was really good as well and all the meals I fully enjoyed. The ambiance of the place is very peaceful and you are able to just relax all you want.
