The hotel has not been renovated for a long time; it needs to be done. I don't like restaurant food, but it's really personal thing.

The location is amazing. The hotel is situated in a beautiful park with wild animals, birds and fish. The hotel building is a nice old castle. The hotel has a spacy parking nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful location, historic building, great value rooms and a great restaurant downstairs. Right in a nature reserve so do go for a walk when you stay here!

I would’ve liked coffee and tea-making facilities in the room, but it’s a very minor quibble.

Interesting property in lovely old neighbourhood of Elsloo, in beautiful grounds with woods and lake. Good location for canal-path bike ride into Maastricht. Friendly staff and really superb food in the restaurant.

Nicely renovated castle tucked away in the woods. Great atmosphere, nice comfortable rooms, good food, and great service. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here! We will be coming back to stay again!

Upon checkout, we were asked to pay for an extra bed. The receptionist argued that it is hotel policy that is written in the rules on booking.com to prepare an extra bed when the number of visitors exceeds 2. We explained that we already booked for 3 people (2 adults + a toddler) and this is not correct. She agreed to drop the payment but it was not pleasant to have this conversation at the checkout.

The hotel was very busy the second day, and many guests were very loud, despite the fact this is not a problem coming from the hotel , the type of accommodation should have some rules about the noise and respect to the others. Due to the crowdie, the breakfast stuff was over ( pastries, salmon) and also I have missed a piece of fruit, hot milk and a toaster for the bread. The parking should be only available for clients of the hotel and restaurant, but also outside trekkers park there, taking the shadow out.

The surroundings and location are awesome. The terrace is amazing and really pleasant to have dinner or a glass of wine. The wines offer is really good. Nice Free Parking space with shadow. The waiters in the terrace were really nice and courteous. The hotel is very cozy and my expectations were fully fulfilled and I will repeat it for sure.

Booking’s rooms are on the upper floor- funky dormers where you have to watch how you move around. not very quiet.

The economy room had some dust on the bedside table. The mattresses are too soft. Better not to have heavy bags as there is no elevator.
