I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The breakfast was a highlight; I appreciated the approach of pre-selecting my meal items, which were ready upon my arrival each morning—this made for a very efficient and enjoyable start to my day. The room was another highlight—spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was particularly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the hotel's central location was extremely convenient, allowing easy access to the beach, various dining options, and the bus station. This proximity made my stay both enjoyable and convenient.

The room (176 euro for 1 night) was small with a slanted ceiling so very limited space to move. Unfortunately these lowered, office style tiled ceilings in many Dutch places remove any feeling for romance and really lack taste. We booked a table for dinner and arrived early to have a drink outside and this wasn’t received well as all staff were too busy to serve us. When I went inside after 20 minutes and offered to take my own drink outside I was sent back outside to wait. The terrace outside was empty. I appreciate needing to stick to procedure but this demonstrated lack of customer understanding and flexibility.

A quiet area just outside of the rowdy centre. A beautiful outdoor terrace. Heated outdoor seating and very friendly staff. The welcome was lovely and the food very good. Breakfast was elaborate very good even though we forgot to pre-order the night before. The bed was large and comfortable. If visiting Texel, I would recommend this place. For Dutch standards it’s good. A bit pricy for what you get but ok.

We had a lovely stay with our 3 children. The 2 rooms we booked were opposite each other at the end of corridor which provided close proximity as well as privacy. The location was perfect in terms of proximity to cycle rides, the beach, and restaurants and shops. The hotel was very flexible in terms of eating arrangements whilst keeping strict covid protocol. The friendly and helpful staff helped to make our stay very relaxing.

Check-in could have been better. First we were given the key of an already occupied room. Then the key did not open the door so we had to go back to reception a third time.

We have stayed here for a special birthday for four days start from beginning to end the staff were so attentive to all our requests and to ensure that our stay would be unique in order to celebrate the special birthday. They had thought of everything in these lockdown times. the breakfast is a game changer- A large assortment is prepared for every guest. The location is close to the small town as well as the beach and the beautiful dunes. Again the stuff really I did themselves to prepare everything and would highly recommend this stay to everyone.
