Quirky room in the roof with great food

The bedrooms are up a very steep staircase which was difficult for my disabled dog. It would be good to be warned about this before booking.

Initial impression was that it's a bit basic, but the bathroom was brand new and right up-to-date, the bed was very comfortable and I slept really well. It's immaculately clean throughout. Breakfast in the cafe downstairs was delicious. I'm told, too, that the food at other times of day is fabulous, but unfortunately I stayed on a Monday night and the cafe was closed.

Internet connection kept coming and going.

Excellent location. Places to eat and drink locally. Easy bus from Leiden and The Hague. Market outside On Friday mornings. Very comfy beds. Fridge in the room.

Ma room was located above the restaurant room and it was noisy (it was the weekend). I was getting up at 4:30 in the morning to go back home. Short night.

The place is located in my opinion in the prettiest street of the city where a charming market is held on some days. The staff is very friendly. Close to Madurodam and Keukenhof. There is also a castle nearby located in a large park.

We went to the restaurant, but not the one downstairs because it was fully booked but to the one they have in another city close by, and the food was a bit mwaa because yeah well, at the end of the day is not Spain :_)

We liked the location a lot, the kids really enjoyed it and the Spanish ambient was excellent. We're spanish ourselves and it was very nice to feel a bit like "at home". Sleeping with some noise of people in the street or downstairs just feels cozy! hahaha

I stayed on a Thursday night and Friday is market day, so the stalls were being set up from 3am on the street outside my room. It's also a tapas restaurant but very limited choice for vegans. I didn't have breakfast so don't know what the vegan option was for that..

The room was clean but the shower needed a good scrub for build up and the sink didn't drain well. The entry was narrow and steps were shallow so hauling a large suitcase would be a challenge. We decided to leave our largest suitcase in the car because of it. Not preferred.

The location in the village was awesome. I would love to spend a day in the area next time. The family room was a good size and had a large king and bunk bed. The restaurant downstairs was full all evening but we did not notice the noise once we went upstairs to our room.

The weather & the view out of our bedroom (!!!) but these things cannot be changed by the owners.

Decent-sized room with comfy bed. Large bathroom with good-sized shower & shower gel provided. Plenty of towels, both hand & bath-sized. Beautiful picture of the Alhambra in Granada over the bed. We could choose what time we wanted breakfast. There was always a boiled egg, a basket of bread buns & croissants & a yogurt on our table on arrival. On a nearby table were slices of ham & cheese as well as various jams & Nutella & also butter. The restaurant was always busy so pre-booking was advisable. Unfortunately the weather meant that very few people ate out on the patio area. The food is Spanish tapas & the choice was amazing. You needed plenty of time to take it all in. You could choose just to have a few dishes & pay for them individually or, if you have a healthy appetite, go for the unlimited option & pay a set price. The food arrived on a wooden platter & was piping hot & delicious. There is a good selection of beers, both on tap & bottled, in the bar. All the waiters were very friendly & quite eager to help out on how the system worked if you were new to tapas.

The hotel is above a lovely restaurant in Spanish style. The neighbourhood is calm, but there might be a little bit of noise from the restaurant in the evening. Yet, we did not experience that since we had a room on the other side. The room was nice, clean and with everything that we needed. The staff was welcoming and professional, but also they made you feel like a part of their restaurant family. The breakfast was well prepared and contained everything a person could wish for. We especially enjoyed coffee. I loved details such as teas with names of cities in Spain, music, room decorations, etc.

The breakfast was nice but probably a bit expensive for what it is. There should be a discounted price for young kids under 10.

The bed and breakfast is just in the heart of the village and 10 minutes walking from the station.Although the rooms are located on the top of the restaurant, they are on the back hence quiter and spacious.

You had to come out your bedroom for our own private bathroom but it was ok for us All the rest was perfect No complains

We stayed here for 5 days while we were getting our apartment set up, after moving from abroad. The staff was all very kind and we looked forward to the simple breakfast each morning as it poured rain outside. Despite the dreary weather, we felt welcome and were able to get our bearings in our new home.

Location close to my Tante's home. Close proximity to other cities. Nice size room if traveling with more than 2 adults or with 2 smaller kids.
