Messy parking, destination charger unavailable and only port used by single car for almost entire stay...

Rooms were quite dark - I was trying to study in between outings, and the lighting was inadequate, even in daytime it was dark! Often in hotels the tea making area has a little extra light, but even there it was dark, and enclosed in a 3 walled tea making space meant you couldn't really see what you were doing. Breakfast had no fresh fruit - all tinned fruit.

Close enough to the beach despite no views. Pool was fun for the kids even though it was cold, in summer if would be perfect. Pool towels were provided. Breakfast was varied enough for kids and adults tastes and had alternative milks (oat, soy, almond) and GF bread My husband liked that the AC worked very well, able to get down to 17 degrees The reception staff had previously given us a quote for breakfast that was less than the published price once we got there, and the staff accommodated us to keep the discounted price which was very kind of them. Also the washing machine "gobbled" our coins, and the staff kindly rescued the coins and allowed us a free use of the washing machine for our hassle.

Bathroom fan was annoyingly loud, couldn't turn the light on without it going as well. Communication with the front desk staff was nigh impossible, much better/friendlier on the last day. Wouldn't let me extend my stay for the same price/room type despite it still being available on Booking.com, so went elsewhere.

Great having free EV chargers on site! Breakfast wasn't bad, kids ate for free which was nice. Overall, comfortable and clean enough generally.

We booked a cot for our baby in advance and got a confirmation from the hotel that we could have it but there was no cot in the room after all.

The location is good close to the beach and centre. Easy parking. Big clean room.

The price of the buffet breakfast had been advertised as $16.50 pp, but when I paid, I was charged $25pp. The buffet was quite ordinary.

Property was lovely, the rooms were large and stunning. Staff were friendly. It was easy walk to the Main Street of Paihia and would recommend this accommodation to others.

A good base from which to explore the area. Ample parking, good pool and all the facilities one might expect. Very good breakfast. Room was perfectly ok - not great but certainly did the job.

The pathways are very uneven and not lit up great, I triped over a large mound in the foot path, it was part of the foot path
