Stayed in a single for four days, AC worked great, comfortable bed, extremely dope bar across the street, helpful staff, short walk to the beach and nightlife district, will definitely stay again if I ever come back

The room was horrible, very run down. Towels looked like rags, the sheets on the bed looked very old. I WAS GIVEN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ROOM than the one I booked. I wish I took pictures but I literally left 5min after checking in. DO NOT RECOMMEND

The room was dirty. One week later we came back and they gave us the same room with the same bed sheets, but this time dirty. We had to ask for new ones. The shower curtain was with moisture.

I went to the property, checked in, and went to my room to use the bathroom. This was my 2nd day in Puerto Rico and from my previous night’s stay I knew that the flushing system in PR is not the best so instead of flushing tissue down the toilet, they throw it in a bin. When I was done using the toilet that is exactly what I did, threw used tissue in the bin and flushed. But, upon flushing toilet, the water kept on rising to the top, to the point it started overflowing. I quickly ran to inform the attendant of the situation, he did not even make an effort to check the bathroom and told me that he has to find the Owner of the property. From the time I told him to the time he talked to the owner about 5 minutes had elapsed and in that time the water kept on gushing out of the toilet on to the bathroom floor. It was very close to getting into the room and it was at that time I had to go in and close the valve that fills the tank so the water could stop(should’ve been done by the attendant). After 5 minutes the attendant came back with a mop in one hand and a plunger in the other and handed those to me and told me “Let me know if you need anything else”, when I asked if I am responsible for cleaning the mess someone else left he replied “This is a dormitory, thats how it works” and kept on walking away. This room is part of a property that also has a dormitory, I understand that but I booked a private room for the exact reason. I shouldn’t be expected to clean up somebody else’s mess, if someone else clogged the toilet and left it as is and the attendant or any other employee of the property was not capable enough to check everything was up to par prior to my check in, that is not my fault. This has to be the worst experience I’ve had staying anywhere. After the whole ordeal, I got on a call with a rep from booking.

It could have been nice to have some curtains around the bunk beds. With 10 beds in a room, it would have been nice to have a little more privacy.

This is the cheapest option in San Juan. And given that, I was pleasantly surprised. Basic facilities, nothing fancy. But it was good. No bad smells of bathroom full of water. It felt super safe. Staff were friendly and accommodating

Very dirty and poor equipped kitchen. The shower and the room were never clean up. The price does not match to this accommodation. My apologies but I don't recommend this hostel.
