The hotel is close to many sightseeing spots, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The breakfast on the terrace is delicious with a variety of options. Our room was spotless and quiet; housekeeping did an excellent job. A heartfelt thank you to Alessandra at the reception. We arrived in Rome to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and Alessandra provided excellent restaurant recommendations and arranged a special greeting for my daughter at breakfast, which was a delightful surprise. When we returned to the hotel late in the evening, Alessandra was the first to ask, "How did your birthday celebration go along?" On our last day, we left our luggage at reception to spend a few final hours in the city. We miscalculated the time, got caught in traffic, and had to run across the city center to pick our suitcases on the way to the train station. When we finally reached the hotel, exhausted and desperate, the lady at reception (whose name we didn't catch) offered us water, called a taxi, and literally saved us. Thanks to her quick assistance, we made it to our train just in time. All in all, it's 10 out of 10 to the staff. The kindness and attention of the hotel's staff created a very special atmosphere, making us feel noticed, welcomed, and cared for.

The hotel garden was incredible and the whole setting picture perfect! A generous breakfast was provided on a lovely piazzetta under the trees, the menu and wine list at the restaurant were very good, the bars and the pool/sea area were all generously setup. The golf cart provided was most useful given how the hotel is set on the side of the mountain and climbing between levels can be quite taxing. Most importantly, the entire staff but especially the golf cart driver and the restaurant staff, were extremely helpful and courteous.

One time is enough.

One time is enough. I didn’t really know what to expect from Rome, but in the end, I’m neither disappointed nor impressed. The city feels like one giant boiling pot of tourists, even outside of the peak season, which personally isn't for me. I’m glad I saw it, but I doubt I’ll come back. However, the highlight of the trip was definitely the Park of the Aqueducts (Parco degli Acquedotti). It’s a completely different world — there was almost no one there, just breathtaking views of the remnants of ancient greatness. The surrounding neighborhood also felt much more authentic, giving us a glimpse of real Roman life away from the souvenir shops. We visited at sunset, and the aqueducts looked absolutely stunning in that light. If you want to escape the crowds and actually feel the history, this is the place to go.

Ostia could have nice promenade by the sea, but there are walls, some abandoned restaurants and beach facilities and a lot of trash. You can walk by the sea only on a small part of coast near marina. Gaeta is an ancient city with plenty of history to discover. A weekend may suffice to enjoy the local attractions and taste the typical cuisine, which excels with seafood. In summertime, the place gets very busy and expensive due to the fabulous beaches, especially Serapo Beach. However, in mid-seasons and even during winter, it is worth a visit if one is interested in less-known destinations.

We stayed in Fiuggi as our daughter was staying in the same area for her college football tournament. We ate at a few nice restaurants - bistro and GoGo. Would recommend visiting here for an evening meal. There is a bar across from the hotel - lots of different beers to try. Lots of bars and shops in close proximity to each other. Accessible by foot. Supermarket well stocked with lots of basic essentials.

We were there for 2 days before the cruise. The restaurants along the beach seem to be tourist traps. The Sealovers House is where we stayed, was disappointing. No hot water and a broken elevator on the 3rd floor. The MyLord restaurant was a fail. My pasta was so salty I couldn't eat it. The waiter didn't care. I feel like the area is taking advantage of a good thing they have at the port, for consumers. On a good note, the waterfront is beautiful. Convenient for a cruise out of Rome. Good Luck!

The hotel was convenient for what we needed, an overnight stay close to the highway on our way into Rome. The staff was great, the facilities were clean, but definitely below par.
