    “Lovely stay where we had 2 rooms; we had the largest room with large double bed, space and quiet a/c (we stayed in early Aug over a heatwave) and a modern bathroom with easy to use walk-in shower and a separate sitting-room/ TV room; a lovely breakfast with homemade (granola, light fruit salad) or fresh produce (bread, pastries) and good coffee. There is secure/gated parking for the cars and a comfortable shaded seating area outside. It is about 10-15 min walk to downtown area. The hostess especially and the host were charming and very welcoming.”

    “I received a warm welcome and felt friendship from the host. I appreciated the conversation. He served an excellent dinner. I couldn’t stay for breakfast, but he offered much more than the typical Gite breakfast! The house is old (1700’s) and very interesting. There are four lovely cats and some chickens in the garden.😊”

    “The property is well located. Cindy is a lovely and warm host. It was a stopover as I walked the Chemin de St. Jacques. The place was more of an Airbnb type accommodation, which was comfortable and clean. However, I missed being with other pilgrims, and this was disorienting. For some, this may be welcomed.”

    “The location is excellent , we had stayed at this hotel in the past and it has been a great pleasure to revisit The balcony with view over the lake is fabulous. A warm welcome awaits you. The chef cooks delicious and copious food. The waiter is efficient and knowledgeable.”

    “A beautiful ancient chateau in a lovely rural location. Our host, Josef was very welcoming and we enjoyed the heated swimming pool. The 5 course Dinner was also excellent with organic local produce including wonderful home grown cherries.”

    “Friendly hosts, they were super enthusiastic getting ready for us in anticipation that we had only limited French and they spoke limited English - they had google translate ready to go! We loved the beds as they were so comfy. Didn’t have air conditioning but we didn’t need it. The pool was wonderful and the hosts could not be more helpful and welcoming. We loved our stay!”
