Super friendly host, nice ‘tent’ with an amazing view!

Amazing views and a very unique, memorable stay! This place is very special; the little cottage is very comfy and the separate toilet and kitchenette are very functional. And you have your own private terrace with views to die for! We loved having our breakfast on the terrace. The drive up was a little bit nerve-wracking on essentially a one-lane road, but we only encountered one car so it wasn't an issue. It's worth shopping for some groceries before you drive up, otherwise you have to drive back down to stock up. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Highlight of our trip to Slovenia. Waking up in this cabin in the mountains is truly special. Wish we could have stayed longer, and hope to come back one day.

Location was brilliant and the views were amazing. The host Franko and his lovely dog Nelli were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Just make sure to arrange your own breakfast & payment with cash when staying outside the summer months, while the connected restaurant isn’t open.

the tiny bathroom was a bit far from the place, which was particularly troublesome at night, the toilet is shared with the guests of the restaurant

The bathroom is not close to the room, and with stairs to access which makes it not comfortable. Although the indications in booking mention “private bathroom”, the toilets are the ones used by the restaurant guests, so information is not accurate (this was mentioned to the property owners).

The only thing is to be good and very careful and lucky in driving, the road to reach the place at a certain point is very narrow and troubled, if you meet another car it is a big problem. for those who are not expert in mountain driving, I recommend that you leave your car in the parking lot of the Tolmin park and continue on foot (if you are traveling with a backpack). a few km in the park (a beautiful and long climb) is truly refreshing for those arriving from the city. eventually you could leave your car in the parking lot and ask the owner, who lives next door, for a lift to go up to the structure.

my stay was truly magical: I really needed to disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature, and this place was truly the top for my solo adventure! The staff was super nice and helpful, the owner's dog is a love and a great company for people like me who love animals. the accommodation has a view that is nothing short of crazy and from there infinite paths open up and you can walk to Dante's cave and the Tolmin gorges, an incredible sight! The accommodation is perfect for living in harmony with the seasons and the nature that surrounds everything.

This glamping spot is located next to small restaurant right up the Tolmin gorge. The view from the tent is phenomenal. The host family (which also runs the restaurant) offer tasty local food and helps everywhere it's needed. Sure, you have to admit, it's still not a full comfy hotel room but it's called glamping so don't be afraid when you have to walk a few meters to the restrooms or the mini kitchen shag next to the tent. But everything is clean and in good condition. And believe me, you will love to have a breakfast with view...as we enjoyed it!

The toilet and shower are in different rooms and there is little space in the shower to put clothes while showering, not big deal. The road can be scary, as it is very narrow.

The location is really beautiful and peaceful. The cottage is comfortable and clean, so is the bed. The host is nice and charming.
