Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LithuaniaIf you will need to do work with pc it would be mission impossible. Wi-Fi is not reachable, same cellular so you will be like in cave so it’s can be good depending you expectations. What is really we did not like is room sound isolation, near the exit doors is an entrance in Studio apartment and near it is coffee machine so if someone will decide to make coffee in early morning or come very late at apartment and you will sleep don’t doubt you will be waken up.
Apartments is clean and comfortable just few steps from sea and places where you can take sun bath’s

AustraliaA couple of hooks on the back of the bathroom door would be helpful. We were in the attic room which meant carrying our luggage up 4 flights of stairs but this is to be expected in an old building.
Perfect location. Only a short walk from check-in office. Good communication with staff prior to our arrival and they were very helpful when checking in.

Apartment is located in the center of the old Piran city, close to everything. It is simple cosy apartment with everything what you need. Piran is a charming place, we have been there multiple times and for sure we well return again.

HungaryThe bed was 2 separated bed next to each other,it is not so comfortable for a couple. The studio was a little dark - narrow street and building- but there were many local lamps could help .We stayed only sleeping so it wasn't intolerable.
Clean studio ,the beach was absolutly close. The men at the reception gave to us all information ( parking, studio, restaurant ) say and draw :-) The studio was very close restaurants and beach but nights were quite.I would like to go back to this apartman.

Good location in the heart of the city, 1min walk to promenade with lot of restaurants, grocery store also close (200m), the shuttle bus stop 3min., check-in in other building but it was not a problem (they are pretty close to each other), receptionist very friendly and kind, parking card for 15€/day in Fornace garage was a good deal (normally costs 24€)

SlovakiaThe WiFi signal could be improved in apartment.
Great location, right in the centre of Piran only a couple of minutes from sea and with plenty of restaurants nearby. The house is old (as expected) and has a bit of a problem with humidity. Run the AC to keep it to tolerable.

SlovakiaPlease, be aware that there is no onsite parking/parking close to the apartment. If coming by car you would have to park in a multistorey car park about 1 km from the place; however there is a free regular and very efficient shuttle bus to/from the centre. So be advised not to take a lot of heavy luggage (!) (the shuttle bus is a small bus/minibus). But this does not reflect about the quality of the accomodation.
Location, close to the sea and yet hidden in the narrow alleyway, atmospheric and lot of character.

SloveniaThe smell in the apartment was not pleasant: it was either the old smell of cigarettes or this smell was coming from the bed linen which had a VERY sour odour. Because of the smell staying at the apartment and sleeping was not comfortable. The bathroom completely lacks pegs and a drying rack.
The room (except the bathroom) is renovated, spacious, and has a small kitchen.

United StatesThe ground floor “studio” we stayed in the first night had no functioning wifi, a problem for us because we needed to make a lot of travel plans. But the staff moved us in the morning upstairs to Apt. 2, and the wifi was fine there. Apt. 2 also had a window we could open, a big improvement. “Studio” had the window directly on the street, so we had to keep blinds closed, so it was dark.
It was clean and had a good shower. Centrally located in old town Piran. Decent espresso from the machine in the entry hall was convenient in the morning.
