The staff is extremely friendly and I like how the hallways smelled really nice. The room was clean and big. Sadly I can not comment on the breakfast offered because I did not have it. I think it's a great hotel for an over night stay and good value for money.

WiFi and parking. Limited parking and you have to pay for it. WiFi very poor (it depends on the room you stay, I had no problems with the internet the previous stay), but the gentleman at the reception told me I should have complained about it and they would have given me the password for their 5G broadband. So, keep this in mind. Also, I don't like open networks and their is open. VPN would have sorted that but the signal was too poor.

It wasn't the first time I stayed at Austria Trend, therefore it clearly made a good impression in the past. No exception this time as well and next time I'm in Ljubljana I'll probably stay there again.

Initially when checking-in reception didn't see my reservation from booking... Then they claimed it's only one day, then they somehow needed my debit card for extra validation. Also I have been charged a tourist tax at the end of service? I have been told it was stated somewhere on the webpage but it still felt strange. I expect these charges to be part of total pricing, before hand. Greenwashing. Energy eating tv screens claiming how green the hotel is. There was a shampoo, conditioner, some beauty addons but no plain inallergic soap to just wash your face with.

Location. Not in center which correlates to pricing but it's easy to navigate from. Breakfast, even though not as cheap as I would like, had full selection.

parking is confusing to find. the parking garage is basically a public one - but connected somehow with the hotel. 30€ per day - i think not cheap

When I checked-in I have been told to give my credit card as a assurence for the payment. However, I was charged more than confirmed by booking.com during the reservation. During checkout I have been asked to pay again and I told them that payment has been made. I told them to deduct this from the amount I paid during check-in. When I asked to get back difference between amount they charged me during check-in and actual amount, they told me it will take several days for this to be seen on my account. I found inappropriete for hotel to charge in advance more than agreed and then make me wait for my money.

Just a little thing which can be solved, there are two chairs in the room 928, these need to be cleaned due to dirty spot.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The hotel is near to the motorway, so it was really fast reach our destination. It was easy and fast to reach the city center too.

This was a lovely one night stay in Ljubljana. We enjoyed everything.

Great hotel, really loved it. We were by bicycles, we did not mind being a bit out of the city centre. What we like the most was that we were able to store our bicycles safely. This was such a lovely gesture/ Thank you so much for that. Also, at the reception, there was a basket with a lovely organic local apples. That was so tasty. I wish we had breakfast, as we were told, everything offered was locally sourced. Yet, we had to rush in the morning so we had to skip it. Next time then. The staff at the reception, they were all so friendly and helpful. Lovely place.
