Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesA little more attentive to the maintenance of the property. Cleanlyness in and around the property. Seriously there was ares that we're mentioned to the front clerk that stay dirty during the whole stay there. Needs a lot of improvement.
The breakfast was great as far your basic breakfast food. Maybe in the future add some donuts or coffee sweets. But in all it was 👍👍👍.

Although bad traffic we managed to find our way. I felt safe there and that was important, since we were women traveling alone. I had to make last minute booking because one booked ahead by someone else seemed sketchy. Breakfast was good, room was clean and comfortable. Everyone we encountered that worked there were kind and accommodating. Comfort Suites are my usual choice to stay.

United StatesBreakfast area could have been cleaned during the breakfast time as there were spills especially around coffee pot area, already used tables were dirty and the trash cans were overflowing. My room was not cleaned/serviced during my entire stay (3 nights) and only one bath towel was in the room. One soap that I had to share for both sink and shower and no replacement bottles of shampoo/conditioner. No ice bucket and ice was only available on upper floors. Air conditioning was a little weak and rooms were stuffy when entered at the end of day after hot days. Slow elevator.
