Bedside lamp didn't work, so just switched it out with another . If I'd mentioned it to staff, am sure they'd have replaced it.

Indoor pool I looked forward to (arrived on a rainy day) is closed for the whole year, shower was weird to operate (guy said they will be changed out soon)

Don't expect luxury, just a decent bed, working AC and a friendly person to check you in.

This is a basic hotel that served us really well. After five days on Lake Powell with no hot showers and makeshift beds, we were thrilled. Beds were comfortable, shower had great water pressure, dogs were welcomed and we all found something to eat for breakfast.

Because this is a value lodging, the breakfast offerings are minimal. That said, the restaurant across the street fills that need nicely.

First Choice Inn is a moderately priced lodging that appears renovated. It's room and common areas were spotless, its desk staff was cheerful and most helpful, and it's a close proximity to Green River's best dining establishment and the John Westley Powell museum. There's also a bank of Tesla charging bays for your electric vehicle next to the property, and added bonus.

The shower/bath control valve was very difficult to turn on and off and at first I thought that the bath/shower was not operational. A staff member came into the room to show me how to turn it on, but it required a blunt force to turn it off and on.

Breakfast was fine. The location near to Arches and Canyonlands was convenient. The restaurant across the street was very good for dinner. Tamarind i think was the name.

Lighting in room could be better and there needs to be a freezer section in the fridge. There needs to be more luggage carts and they need to use lubricant on the really sqeaky wheels on the two carts they do have.

Breakfast was good, good variety of types of food. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was friendly!

Remote control for TV was missing, took an hour to correct. They were very accommodating regarding the issue and addressed it immediately. Manager had to come to property to program the remote.

The breakfast wasn’t very good. The sausage were over cooked and were dry and hard. The coffee is out in the lobby and not in the eating area. There was limited choices of yogurt. I went to the ice machine four times and each time it said it was making ice and not available to dispense ice.

The toilet is really low. It's a little older hotel so it doesn't have a huge number of USBs for electronics, so you'll want to bring your wall adapters if you're a device junkie. It didn't hamper us.

Checked reviews before booking. Over and over I saw "very clean" and I totally agree. Very clean, very comfortable. Bathroom and bed very clean and nice. Very good shower head and water pressure. Convenient to a really good restaurant across the street and several others less than a half mile away. Full hot breakfast was included.
