location on the website is incorrect as it’s a few I’m down the road. it’s also changed name from Cresta view so the taxi driver didn’t know how to find it and maps still list it as Cresta view. with the wrong location on here spent an hour driving around trying to find it

For a hotel as big as it is, it seems to have one generator set, leaving guests in darkness while it was being serviced. No lights were provided for guests in their rooms while the service of the generator was taking place

Dodgy practices, tried to charge me twice for the first stay, then gave me a broken room the second stay while mentioning the issue over refusing to be overcharged the first time. I think the broken room was "payback" for not letting them shake me down for more money. Then, 2 weeks AFTER my second stay I got a message from booking.com that the hotel reported me as a no show and had cancelled the reservation??? Very, very strange. I let booking know I had actually stayed and had paid in full upon arrival. They just seem shady. I would never stay there again.

They tried to charge me again at checkout claiming the rate had changed even though I had paid in full the day before at checkin. They said they had undercharged me and needed to charge more, but I had paid the correct amount per my reservation. They said the rate had changed (since yesterday?). I refused and then they wanted me to sign a paper, but it said "balance due" instead of paid (and I did confirm the transaction with my card company -I had already paid in full). Despite this, we had prebooked both stayed and stayed again on the way back through 2 weeks later. Despite an empty hotel we were given a room in a faraway corner with broken AC and a room in clean but poorly maintained condition. They mentioned they remembered the situation from the last stay- I think the terrible broken room was "payback" for refusing to be overcharged. Then...as if that wasn't enough, 2 weeks AFTER the second stay I got a message from booking.com that the hotel reported me as a no show on the second reservation and had cancelled it! I messaged back indicating the truth but ..this place seems pretty dodgy after all that I would stay somewhere else.

Woke up at 2am to go to the toilet only to find out it was pitch black. Called the reception and the manager on shift explained how there was a power in Zambia and they have a backup generator but they also switch it off to save fuel which l found very appalling to switch off back up electricity and the whole hotel was in darkness. I explain to him that that’s something they should have disclosed upon booking. I use a CPAP machine at night and it plugs to the wall as it helps me breath well during my sleep. I was very disappointed to find out a big hotel could switch off their back up electricity just to save gas when customers have paid a full bill. I will definitely will not be staying at this hotel

Very poor reception / check in. I arrived around 3pm, with three bags, there was no potter, so I had to lift my bags to the reception. After checking in formalities at the reception, the receptionist just pointed where I will find a corridor and that I should follow the corridor until I locate my room. Even from there I had to carry my bags wandering my way to the room I needed to locate.

The room was clean and comfortable, the view was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful especially the housekeeping and restaurant staff. Most outstanding and helpful was the lady supervisor at the restaurant, Catherine

There is a pungent smell which hits you immediately you reach the reception the smell is even in the rooms. They need to change whatever they are using to clean the rooms. It smells bad.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The way to the airport takes 20-25 minutes. The room was comfortable and quiet. Wi-Fi worked well. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast was also delicious and hearty. The staff was friendly and allowed us to do a late check-out without extra charge. We saw antelopes walking around the hotel territory. Everything was wonderful.

Renovations going on, hallway was being painted, and smelt of paint. There were no shower caps or lotions provided, rooms had a smell. WiFi is not good. They accept USDs from certain series only and this was not communicated beforehand

Try to renovate your hotel without checking Inn guests or at least concentrate on 1 wing& close the other one Facility was below my expectations,rooms were filthy& bath shower cube is very small

The rooms were filthy, the worst hotel i have ever stayed in.... The paint & cement smell,not sure why you will resort to renovating but still check in guests.... Although the best option is to book their stand alone cottages.... Only supper was cooked nice& breakfast was good

Good location on Great East Road Close to shopping centre east park mall. I was upgraded to an apartment which was brilliant and comfortable felt like home. Quiet and peaceful place with comfy beds. Beautiful surroundings . Staff were friendly and helpful . Enjoyed using the hotel gym and spa with a relaxing Swedish massage at an affordable price. Reliable WiFi too ! I recommend this hotel .

First of all, I found a dead cockroach 🪳 on the floor near the nightstand. Second, I stepped onto a water puddle when I went wash my hands. Looks like there's a leak somewhere. I put a towel on top of it. Thirdly, the hotel restaurant food was kinda pricey for the fact that it was just as ordinary. The only thing that stood out was the salad dressing. Finally, there were no caution signs warning customers around the construction area. There was exposed sharp steel framing material.
