Riads in Fès

Die Lage mitten in der Medina war super. Waren schnell bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten . Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war super lecker für jeden etwas dabei und wechselte täglich. Und das abendliche Highlight - wenn der Muezzin zum Nachtgebet ruft , auf der Terrasse einfach fantastisch.

We ate breakfast (included) and dinner (paid separately) at the riad every day. The breakfasts included an omlette (scrambled eggs) if one wanted, as well as variety of fruits, veggies, cheeses, jams, breads, and such. Always fresh squeezed orange juice, plus coffee and Moroccan tea. Dinners were delicious and well prepared Moroccan specialties. The staff were wonderful, and worked together as a great team with good spirit for each other and for all the guests (from all over the world!). Yassine, the hospitality manager and team lead for the staff, was wonderful in making arrangements with guides and drivers. He checked in with us on our experience with each driver (we used 2 for day trips outside of Fez) and guide (we had one). This was not perfunctory but Yassine was sincere in asking and in receiving our feedback. The property, tucked in among the winding walking streets of the old city, can be hard to find. The riad provides a porter/guide who brings guests to the property. Stepping in from the street, one finds an amazing, respectfully restored and expanded manor-house with open courtyards and incredibly high ceilings in rooms, and a rooftop from which to see the city in all directions. The pool is very clean and refreshing!

The high and modern high end style, with the comfort and cleanliness. Its a new riad, very unique, the way they kept the vibe from and old riad while everything is so new , great job! Must see! The room was clean and the design is just perfect, the colors and the Moroccan vibe it gives, its love at the first sight! The host was so kind, helped a lot, made our stay way easier and comfortable!

The riad itself is stunning, with elegant traditional decor, a peaceful courtyard, and a relaxing atmosphere that offered a perfect escape from the busy streets of the Medina. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed, combining authentic Moroccan charm with modern amenities.

This is a beautiful Riad in a great location - an absolute oasis of calm on the edge of all the busyness of the medina. Our room was huge with a very comfortable enormous bed, and a great shower. Breakfast served in the terrace room, was delicious, plentiful and varied. But the best thing about this place is the staff. Fatima, Chaimare, Yassine and Ratiba all went out of their way to provide the warmest welcome and service. My absolute highlight was the wonderful hammam and massage, given by two exceptional masseuses. Ten stars!

Hajar and the team were great in managing everything. This is the one place where we really felt at home.

What a beautiful Riad and amazing friendly staff. Our stay was perfect!!!

A short distance from the old medina, which was actually a nice break from the hustle and bustle there. We had two good-sized rooms and had the whole house to ourselves. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The owner even treated us to a wonderful dinner on the house. When we left for a few days to explore another part of Morocco, we left some of our belongings there, and upon our return, the owner personally delivered them to where we were staying. That level of trust and care really says everything about the kind of hospitality you get here. Truly lovely house with hospitality to match. Highly recommend.

Exceptional hospitality, felt like visiting friends, not a hotel. When we mentioned how good is their tea the owner not only recommended to us where to buy it but also showed us how to properly prepare it. The bedroom does look like on the picture.

The location of the place was perfect, nestled in the heart of a bustling souk, it was truly enchanting and magical. The atmosphere felt like an oasis, and honestly, from the outside, you couldn't begin to imagine what awaited inside. Yet, what you encountered was pure magic, and the tranquility you experienced felt as though you were transported to an entirely different realm. The breakfast was nice I especially was very found of msemmen with honey, never tasted such honey. Muhammad's hospitality was nothing short of exemplary. Throughout my stay, he demonstrated an unparalleled level of attentiveness, consistently anticipating and addressing every need that arose with unwavering dedication. His genuine warmth and willingness to assist, always accompanied by a welcoming smile, made me feel not just welcomed, but truly valued as a guest. Under his care, I never once experienced a moment of feeling overlooked or neglected; instead, I felt embraced by his hospitality, creating an experience that surpassed all expectations.

A very atmospheric place, close to the Medina. Friendly hosts. We were welcomed with tea and delicious dates. In the morning, we were served a delicious breakfast on the terrace overlooking the castle. We highly recommend it. Beautiful place ❤️
