Romantic Hotels in Lienz

We loved our stay there. Although we stayed only for a short time, we felt welcome and comfortable. The beds are comfortable, rooms are nice. We didn’t have breakfast and couldn’t use the spa facilities, because we arrived too late at night and left early in the morning, but it’s a nice addition if you stay a little longer.

Room is a part of house directly in downtown of city, 5min walking from railway station.. Everything is close, no car needed in this area. Room was on 1st floor, no necessity to use the lift but for higher floors, the possibility to use it... Fully arranged appartement with all necessary you need for longer or shorter trips. We stayed there only one night, but we recommend it as well for longer stays , we felt there as at home..nice, cozy. Despite the building is located directly in main street of city, calm appartment with no negative echo from teh street. We had the view to the mountains close the the Lienz.

Location, sheer size of room, furnishings and service

The view from the balcony is something that I have never seen before, it did not get boring at all. Included breakfast was also one of the best I’ve had, with so many options. Staff were all friendly. Even though I didn’t use the facilities, they had a wellness centre and pool. Room was good size and well provided for.

It’s a lovely old building with modern facilities including a sauna. The staff were all lovely and the attention to detail second to none. The rooms were comfy and the food was delicious. Amazing views and a great location.

We were traveling around and had to crash somewhere. We chose this Gasthof, and it was excellent. The owners hosted us although we came very late in the night. The service was perfect, the room and all the house - exceptionally clean. The breakfast was perfect! Thanks for having us.

My parents loved coming back for their 50th anniversary, having got married there all that time ago. Thank you for the additional extras and fantastic communication. You made it so special for them

Beautifully located in a forest and extremely quiet. My room and bathroom were surprisingly large, well appointed and complemented by a balcony. The breakfast was exceptionally good and beautifully presented. Dinner was excellent.

We found this as a cheaper option to the hotels in Lienz, what a great place, amazing views and huge rooms. Super kind host, super easy check in and nice breakfast.
