We liked everything about the apartment - it was very spacious, beautifully designed and well-equipped and had a wonderful balcony with mountain view. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This old hotel in the pedestrian precinct in Lienz is a real gem. While the hotel is very old world, the rooms are nicely renovated and very comfortable. The breakfast spread in the dining room was superb and the hotel's sauna and pool area is a great place to relax at the end of the day. The view over the city and of the rugged mountains is amazing. I rate this hotel as the best value for money of any accommodation that I have booked during 8 weeks in Europe. It is also located only 5 minutes walk from the station which makes it very easy if you are traveling by train.

Everything, from the location, to the forniture. But the sunshine from the terrace with the snow getting shining by the sun is something priceless!!! Unsure to book your stay? Just do it, you'll get a recharging holidays!

The hostess made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived The room was bright and very clean. The interior was modern and looked newly renovated. It had a private balcony and a refrigerator. The house was located on a mountainside with incredible views of the mountains and the valley. The breakfast was delicious, and the homemade bread from the house was especially good. If you’re interested in hiking, a bit higher up on the same mountain there are many well-marked day hiking trails that are not crowded. You can reach the trailheads by car, and if you want, you can hike all the way to the mountain peaks.
