this is a beautiful and comfy hotel with a lovely garden for drinks or meals. Beyond the usual amenaties at a 5 star hotel like great beds, beautiful room, we loved the attention to detail such as: chocolate welcome gift, daily water, light dimmer in the bathroom so it can be soothing at night (my own bugbear), a heated mirror in the bathroom that gave a small clear square after showering. we chose a balcony room facing the lake, on the second floor. stunning views!

We loved everything. This was the best of 8 hotels we stayed in our trip. Vey nice room with a fantastic view over the lake Geneve. Very good brekafast. Free parking.

Philip is a fantastic hotel owner and host. So is the team there... the chef, service staff all excellent. They made fantastic veg cuisine for us everyday and made our day with the last meal of the day after a long busy day in Montreux. Breakfast was great too. Everything perfect about the hotel. Clean, spacious, airy rooms & comfortable bed. Will definitely consider staying here again. It is a little far from the main street and station but with precise swiss transportation 15 mins travel was hardly an issue. Infact we liked the fact that it was a little away from downtown.

Vidunderlig udsigt til bjergene og byen fra terrassen. Hotellet er lidt umoderne men værelset var nyistandsat og pænt. Receptionisten var meget imødekommende og hjalp bl.a. med at booke bord på en lokal restaurant uden for byen. Der var gode parkeringsforhold (gratis) i kælder og foran hotellet.

We came for the Montreux jazz festival and the location is perfect for this reason. We can even watch some concert from our balcony.

The location of the hotel and the Restaurant 'The Deck' as well as the lounge overlooking the vineyards of Lavaux is absolut fantastic. The view is magic and the food in the Restaurant is very delicious. Absolut a MUST! The staff is very friendly and we could also get a drink after dinner at the Hotel Bar.
