Romantic Hotels in Tegernsee

First of all, it’s very beautiful. The hotel consist out of five buildings each building in a different style. Very tasty. Interior decoration stunning spa area and a very good restaurant. Breakfast is great. Staff is amazing. I stayed in may in my life all over the world have never experienced such a competent, friendly and helpful team.

Wonderful view of the lake and nearby mountains! Exceptional and healthy breakfast on a beautiful terrace overlooking Tegernsee. Friendly and helpful staff and a spotlessly clean room. This was the best hotel I experienced in Germany. Can’t wait to go back.

This was truly an excellent experience. The view over the lake was gorgeous. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had forgotten an item and within half an hour of contacting them they had it ready for shipment to us. The bathroom had beautiful tiles. The room was not big but spacious enough. There was always sufficient parking. The breakfast was truly outstanding. And the coffee was delicious.

This hotel is truly magical, offering spacious rooms—we had one with a kitchen—and a large, peaceful garden surrounded by greenery. It's located close to a lake, where there's a small water park, and as a guest, you get a discount and can use the free shuttle and ferry services provided by the hotel. The nearby small city is charming and peaceful, adding to the overall amazing experience. The hotel staff is incredibly helpful and nice, making it a wonderfully quiet and relaxing place to stay.

A truly special experience even better than I hoped. I came to this hotel alone on my birthday, intentionally taking a break from everything and everyone. I was unsure whether being alone on such a day was the right decision, but now I can say with full confidence that it absolutely was. I am truly happy I chose this place. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff went out of their way to make me feel seen and cared for. They acknowledged my birthday and allowed me an early check-in, which made a big difference in how my day unfolded. Their attention to detail and kindness were felt in everything, from how they communicated (especially important for travelers who might not speak the local language) to the way every part of the hotel was thoughtfully arranged. Despite the awful weather outside, the peaceful, cozy environment of the hotel, the attitude of the staff, and the beautiful little details, especially the amazing breakfast, all came together to make me feel calm, grounded, and incredibly grateful. The hotel is small, but in the best way everything is well organized, clean, and prepared with care. Every little thing is thoughtfully considered, and it’s in those little things that real happiness is hidden. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my birthday so memorable. I’ll always remember this stay. ❤️❤️❤️

The Hotel Alpensonne is very comfortable and clean. The rooms are of good size. Our room included a covered balcony with lounge chairs that made the perfect place to rest at the end of the day. The included breakfast is excellent. It is a short walking distance to everything Bad Weisee has to offer.

Amazing view of the lake, lovely staff, great food

Fantastic staff and location! Exceptionally child friendly with inclusive daycare facilities and activities for the kids. Fifteen minute walk from the lake or downtown. Pool and spa were amazing and reasonably priced for a luxury resort. Restaurants at the hotel offered a variety of options.

This is about the 3rd or 4th time we stayed at the Quellenhof. It was always excellent. Since May 2025 the Quellenhof has new owners, and they are super friendly, serve great breakfasts, wonderful rooms. Super nice owners. Thank you to Sven, Nicole, Luciano. You made us feel so welcome!

A family-running hotel which is just perfect. I would say that the whole place has a unique ID in terms of the style and the decoration. The indoor pool and the sauna helped us to relax and spend time with the children. Breakfast is also amazing. The people prepared coffee and fried eggs along with the rich buffet with the handmade marmalade.
