Location was beautiful. Rooms, pool, spa, restaurant were all excellent. Staff was extremely friendly. I had the best massage from Pilar. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! Rooms were very clean and well maintained during our stay. There was a fragrant fig scent throughout the property that enhanced the experience and was just beautiful. Overall a terrific experience and I recommend wholeheartedly.

The owner is the most helpful person I have met in Spain. I arrived with an injury and she gave me extra pillows and even delivered my backpack to Villaviciosa the next day. She gave great advice about restaurants and what to expect on the next day’s Camino Del Norte.

Covalunga was welcoming and a great host. She even had breakfast ready early for us since we like to get an early start to our day. She also helped us book a dinner reservation on a busy Friday night. The place was quiet and relaxing.
