The location was convenient, about a five‑minute walk from the train station. About ten minutes on foot took me to the seaside, and there was even a morning market along the way, which made my walks enjoyable and a nice part of the stay. The man at the front desk didn’t speak English, but we managed to communicate using a translation app, which worked fine.

A lovely hotel tucked away in the historic old town of Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Stepping off the bustling street, the noise fades away, revealing an atmosphere that—while understated—exudes elegance and tranquility. Both the interiors and guest rooms are kept impeccably clean, and the staff are consistently friendly and courteous. The view from the "valley view" room is magnificent, especially given the special quality of the air at dawn and dusk. The restaurant’s set menu featured delicate dishes that beautifully highlighted the natural flavors of the ingredients; combined with the quiet, serene ambiance of the terrace, it made for a truly romantic experience. Breakfast offered just the right amount of variety, including an impressive array of pound cakes that made choosing difficult. Strolling through the old town at dusk or early morning—when the crowds are gone—created wonderful memories that simply cannot be gained from a standard day trip. There is no elevator or swimming pool, yet it is a superb hotel.
