A welcoming atmospheric hotel overlooking waterfront and local market. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Staff were super helpful and friendly - they did everything they could to help us when we had a problem with our rental car. Breakfast was plentiful with hot options, freshly cooked.

Offering a private beach area, the oceanfront Whispering Waves Cottages is located in Shelburne. Free WiFi access is available. It was very comfortable and relaxed. Decor is fun and bright. Nothing fussy so easy to relax and enjoy with children or pets. Everything you need to make meals. Lovely view from windows and deck. Property is nice for walking the dog or children to play.

Boasting a waterfront location, this Digby property offers an on-site bar and restaurant. A kitchen or kitchenette feature in most of the suites. Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa is 2 km away. The room was large and beautiful with a balcony over looking the water . Location was great with many restaurants within walking distance . The room was very clean and the bed was comfy with nice linens . Didn’t have a chance to try the restaurant but the menu looked good . Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet stay and comfortable stay .

Just 500 metres from the coast, Chisholms of Troy Coastal Cottages are all equipped with BBQ facilities and a patio overlooking St. George’s Bay and the Strait of Canso. Beautiful surroundings, though the mist took away some of the pleasure. The cottage is very good and well equipped. The landlord is very good, friendly and welcoming. My friend and I arrived late (after midnight) by rental car from Halifax. He (the landlord) was waiting for us and directed us to our cottage. We really appreciated this kind service.

A lovely stay in a wooden cabin tucked into the forest. Cosy but comfortable with a communal kitchen that we really appreciated to save costs on meals in restaurants. A lovely walk to the beach and the most amazing pannekoek for breakfast and some of the best coffee on the island! Don't miss the breakfast in the Cafe!

The owners and staff were lovely, and the breakfast was beyond expectations. Although situated in the middle of a town, the property wonderfully feels miles away from anything. It's expansive, peaceful, and a place to which we will return the next time we're in Canada.
