Situated in Münchenwiler, 14 km from Forum Fribourg, Bed & Breakfast Region Murtensee features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Very clean. Great terrace. Super delicious breakfast at a reasonable price was served to our room. The host was very kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

La Fleur de Lys is housed in a 350 year-old building right in the centre of the medieval town of Gruyère, 400 metres from Gruyère Castle, the Giger Museum and the Tibet Museum. Great room, carved wooden bed and furniture, location was incredible just a walk from the Giger museum and bar right in the old town centre. Breakfast was good selections of meat fruit cheese bread and yogurts and the usual. Use of coffee machine in a beautiful lounge room with a log fire in the evenings in November. The staff were particularly helpful and made you feel very welcome.

Gruyère Rooms is located in the historic center of Gruyères, Gruyère-Rooms offers you a wide range of different rooms, free wi-fi, a private outdoor garden, a shop where you can watch cheese being... A very pretty hotel just in the middle of the beautiful little village. Everything was perfect.

De Ville is a charming hotel situated in a picturesque medieval village with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It features free Wi-Fi and fine dining with renowned regional specialities.... The rooms were large and equipped with the basics. The location in the middle of Gruyeres is ideal. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcome.

Situated on the edge of Gruyères, the Hôtel de Gruyères offers you quiet rooms with balconies decorated in rustic style, and free WiFi access. We stayed two nights end of November and booked a spacious quadruple room on the 3rd floor, which had a mountain view and side view on the castle. Everything was perfect: 1) Very close to the center of the village (there are only a few hotels in such proximity to Gruyeres and Hotel de Gruyeres is the most affordable); 2) hotel is located on the hill, so you do not have to go up from public parking P1, P2 or P3; 3) private parking with 9 places and a couple of places for motorbikes (free of charge); 4) if private parking is full, the car can be parked on P1, P2 or P3 for 10 CHF per day or free of charge between 18:00 and 8:00; 5) room is equipped with a fridge, kettle, safe; 6) fabulous fresh breakfast with a lot of choices; 7) very friendly ladies on reception; 8) wellness center with sauna and hammam (can be booked and ready for use in one hour of heating) and small gym (well equipped); 9) restaurant with a terrace outside with an amazing view; 10) 5 min to the cheese factory and 15 min to chocolate factory by car.

Situated in Murten, 24 km from Bern, Schloss Münchenwiler features free WiFi access. Private parking is available on-site. Especially breakfast, room was also ok but I didn't find any channel in English or French in the TV. I was looking at the Olympics and it was ok in German this time.

Opened in January 2013, Hotel Mercure Fribourg Centre Remparts is located next to the ancient city wall of Fribourg, a 10-minute walk from the historic centre of Fribourg and the Cathedral. I liked everything. I was surprised that haven’t heard a sound despite the room was next to elevator. Nice view, parking, friendly stuff.
