Beautiful elegant hotel well situated. Grand old hotel with all modern conveniences. Beautiful lobby and service was great except problems with repeated demagnetized key cards. Modern and well appointed rooms with large bathroom with separate tub and shower. Bed was comfortable. Nice little touches with complementary nuts, muffin and chocolates. Breakfast was fantastic with everything available. Elegant bar and dining room for breakfast. Nice patio outside to overlook Lake Lucerne. Overall little to complain about and much to laud. A true 5 star hotel.

We had an unforgettable stay at the Hermitage, and I can honestly say it's one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. The location right on the shores of Lake Lucerne is perfect – direct access to the lake, breathtaking views of the water and surrounding mountains from almost everywhere, including our room. Waking up to that scenery every morning was pure magic! The facilities are top-notch: modern, stylish rooms (designed with such elegance), a wonderful beach club area, and plenty of relaxing spots to enjoy the lakefront. Everything feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and luxury. And the staff? Exceptionally helpful, friendly, and attentive – they made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. If you're looking for a scenic, peaceful retreat with amazing lake views, excellent amenities, great food, and warm service, this hotel is highly recommended. We can't wait to come back!
