Set in the very heart of the scenic village of Balsthal, Hotel Balsthal is conveniently located 3 km from the A1 motorway. Simple yet modern and clean hotel room with river view. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast and coffee. There is a good restaurant in the hotel. Staff was attentive and friendly. It was a great stay and we will come back.

The location of this hotel is excellent and it is very warm and comfortable. All the staff members are extremely friendly and totally organised for late arrivals and requests regarding any extra assistance.

Impeccably clean, thought had gone into the small details such as the fact that none of the doors anywhere slammed. Great breakfast and a good quality 24hr drinks machine in the lobby with “proper” coffee, hot chocolate, tea etc. Lovely, friendly staff. Correct and faultless.
