Built in 1915 and representing an important part of the historical heritage of Lausanne, the Lausanne Palace is an elegant 5-star hotel in the heart of the business and shopping district. This was the best 5 star hotel I have ever stayed at,the facilities, room, staff, location, view and amenities were just all superb. Truly a memorable experience.

Renovated and housed in an Art Deco building, the family-run hotel is located in a quiet pedestrian area in the centre of Lausanne, near Flon Metro Station and a 10-minute walk from the train... Everything is new and in supreme condition. Staff helpful and friendly. We also made use of the free public transport option, and enjoyed the doscounted parking. Great and varied breakfast with all the usuals including pancakes, fruit and vegetables. Sound insulation was great for such a central location. We were sure we were more or less alone until we came down to breakfast to see there were a lot of other guests. A real hidden gem, would absolutely come here again.

Château Salavaux on pärit 1594. aastast ning seda ümbritsevad rohelised põllud ja õunapuud. Murteni järv on vaid 1 km kaugusel. One of my favorite hotel stays ever. The hotel itself is gorgeous - out of a fairytale. The staff was amazing. The Salavaux/Vully area is so special. We rented a vespa from the hotel and drove around the countryside - and the hotel packed us a picnic lunch of cheese, ham, bread and wine. The staff helped us find the best wineries nearby. We had an incredible dinner at the hotel our first night. I couldn't say enough amazing things about our stay here.

Timeless classic, wonderfully hospitable. Large rooms, superb restaurant, tremendous value. Can't wait to return.

The Château d'Ouchy is a renovated medieval castle with an original donjon (keep) in a scenic location in Lausanne, directly on the shores of Lake Geneva. Amazing view of the lake, great location to walk near the water and to explore the rest of the city. Very friendly and helpful staff. Luxurious room, the bathroom was a dream 😍.
