The spacious rooms at the Hotel Dann Carlton Bucaramanga maintain the hotel´s classical décor, all featuring air conditioning and French-style windows. Suites offer scenic city views, separate lounge areas and a king-size bed. Free WiFi is available. The breakfast was a fantastic mix of local Colombian breakfast food as well as European breakfast foods. The Colombian food included Tamales, Pan de Yuca, Pan con Bocadillo, Calentado, Chorizos and of course, scrambled eggs both with and without ham. The European food included toasted bread with marmalade, cereals including cornflakes; granola and Choco Crisps (the Colombian Coco Pops!), eggs as requested (we ordered fried eggs), muffins / cupcakes and yogurt. The drinks there was coffee (of course! 🇨🇴), tea, milk, hot chocolate, freshly squeezed juices of Blackberry, Mandarin, and Orange. Honestly, it was a fantastic blended breakfast for all, those who prefer their conventional breakfast and those who want to the local cuisine!

Guests at the farm stay will be able to enjoy activities in and around Aratoca, like hiking. A baby safety gate is also available at Cabañas Cañon Del Chicamocha, while guests can also relax in the garden. I totally recommend to stay at the Cabañas. A peaceful and comfortable place with a stunning view to the Cañon. This place is 10/10!

Casa Barichara Boutique is a detached holiday home with a year-round outdoor pool, located in Barichara. You can enjoy the garden in fair weather. Free private parking is available on site. Santa Barbara chapel is 100 meters away and the Cathedral is 300 meters from the porperty. We absolutely loved Casa Barichara, a real gem. Stylish in every way . The people are just charming , the food they prepared was delicious and we could not fault it. This is definitely going to be a highlight of our trip in Colombia

It is 120 km from Palonegro International Airport in Bucaramanga and a 2-hour drive from Chicamocha National Park. Good location, staff was lovely they answered all our questions and they provided guidance to do activities
