Opulent, incredible, lavish, amazing. Most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. Incredible mountain views combined with amazing staff and a perfectly designed and maintained hotel. Indoor and heated outdoor pools were very enjoyable. Nice gym to burn off the great food. Breakfast was delicious. To order eggs and an amazing selection of everything else. Located in Obersalzberg below the Kehlsteinhaus (Eagles Nest) this incredible hotel gives you easy access to Berchtesgaden's many attractions. Easy walk to the bus boarding area for the Eagles Nest. Buy your tickets on-line in advance. Open mid-May to mid-October. Documentation Museum (History of the Nazi leadership in this area and atrocities) is located on the backside of the vehicle parking area for the Eagles Nest bus tour and is open year around. Visit the salt mine and take the fun tour and make sure you drive to the Konigssee and take the boat tour and enjoy some hiking. If you are a true adventurer you can walk to the Kehlsteinhaus from the hotel. They will give you a map. All trails so no bus conflict. Very well marked with sign posts. Said four hours but I did it in one and a half. You don't need to take the elevator to the Eagles Nest at the bus turn around area. Walk down the road 200-300 meters and a trail takes you to the top.

This guest house is set in Oberding in quiet Bavarian countryside, a 5-minute drive from Munich Airport. The Brandmayerhof provides free parking and great access to the A9 and A92 motorways. only stayed there for a single night after a late landing at the nearby Munich airport. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good.
