The special drinks at the bar, so tasty, congrats to the barkeeper Mikel. 😋 Wellness area, the sauna Aufgusses with Hans-Christian and Janik. 🤤 We had a memorable experience.

The hotel decoration is great, really feeling cosy. The bar with a real barman able to prepare customised cocktails is the highlight. Wellness is perfectly equiped, not crowded, peaceful and highly comfortable with the resting area including beds. The restaurant brasserie was very good even if a bit pricy for the city but in line with high standards of the hotel. The room we had was with a view on the street but it was amazingly well soundproof, we had such a good sleep.

El Gastehaus Schloss Saareck está situado en Mettlach, en un hermoso parque a orillas del río Saar, cerca del pintoresco valle de Saarschleife. We have chosen the hotel for a one night stay in the city of Villeroy & Boch. The castle is romantic, charming with great surroundings. We loved our room. Even if it was hot, the room was equipped with a classic ventilator that helped us circulate the air. The bathroom looked amazing (not the one with bathtub), quality materials and very clean. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was very good.

As always our overnight stay st the Achilles was a very comfortable one. On arrival we received a warm welcome from the owners and our room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and lovely en suite facilities. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and was very reasonably priced. The motorway network is only minutes away so the hotel is ideally situated.
