This guest house is beautifully located in the heart of the Spreewald Forest. It is 300 metres from the Spreewaldtherme thermal baths and 500 metres from the centre of Burg. Modern amenities are in mint condition. The kitchen is well-equipped. We had all the space we needed and more. It is very quiet, and there is plenty of free parking.

The room was beautiful and the spa facilities were lovely. Dinner and breakfast in the hotel was also very good quality.

We even went on a Kahnfahrt offered by the hotel, and we got a kick out of the pickle museum that’s right there as well. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

This hotel enjoys a tranquil and idyllic setting in the popular Spreewald area. Spreewaldhotel Stephanshof lies directly on a tributary of the River Spree, and on designated hiking trails. We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in the Spreewald. The hotel was cozy, warm, and very welcoming, with a lovely atmosphere. It was great to have the option to eat at the hotel, and we really enjoyed our meals — especially the availability of a vegetarian option, which was much appreciated. After dinner, we made good use of the sauna facilities and the swimming pool. This was a wonderful extra during the cold days and the perfect way to warm up and relax. Overall, a very good hotel, and we would happily stay here again.
