This place is an peaceful oasis on the wild, windy coast of western Denmark and we felt very lucky to have been able to stay here. Let’s get to the many reasons why: 1. The top of the list is Ole’s beautiful garden, which is filled with flowers, plants, birds, fountains, and multiple sitting areas thoughtfully designed to allow you to sit in the sun or shade, as you wish. The smell from the lilacs and other flowers was absolutely heavenly. 2. We were able to charge and store our e-bikes in the garage where they were safe and dry. This is a big positive for touring cyclists. 3. The whole apartment also smelled of flowers that had been lovingly cut from the garden and placed in a vase on the table. 4. Ole had so many treats waiting for us, we couldn’t believe it. The fridge was filled with eggs, bread, deli meats, butter, jam, orange juice, and condiments perfect for a very nice breakfast, all free. He also provided coffee and tea, and chocolates. 5. There was beer and wine for a very low price to purchase, and local jams and oils as well. 4. The apartment was very tastefully decorated with reminders of the sea and real plants (not plastic) everywhere. 5. The bedding was of the highest quality and the mattress cover made it feel like one big bed instead of two. We slept like the dead. 6. There is a grocery store 180 meters from the house that makes delicious traditional Danish rolls and cookies. My husband and I both have a horrible sweet tooth. They made these homemade crispy cookie sandwiches with a layer of creme in-between and then dipped in chocolate. Oh, my goodness gracious. 6. Last but not least, Ole invited us to have a glass of wine in the garden where we spoke about the wonders of life. This, he said, was what “hygge” was all about. 🥰

Wonderful nature. A very comfortable bed. Super quiet. Delicious food. Very caring and professional staff.

Aiavaate ja terrassiga Bed & Breakfast Horsens asub umbes 33 km kaugusel Wave'ist. Rannaäärsel majutusasutusel on terrass, tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Peretubades on ka välikamin. The location was perfect. Close to highway, close to the city, but still inside the beautiful nature. Very friendly hosts - Hanne and Kenny, who used their time to talk to us, to make breakfast exactly as we like. The room was clean, and had everything we need. Comfortable beds. Nice view from the window. We walked in the garden, so beautiful. Delisious breakfast with variety of fresh food products. We really enjoyed our stay.

Set in Aarhus city centre, Comwell Aarhus Dolce by Wyndham has its own restaurant and a fitness center. Wi-Fi is free. Everything was perfect: the cleanliness of the place, the hotel and its design, the kindness and courtesy of the staff, the food, their focus on respecting the environment.

This designer hotel is only 300 metres from Aarhus Train Station. It offers free Wi-Fi internet access and free tea/coffee around the clock. All rooms have a flat-screen TV. Nice location and very nice room and hotel. Lovely breakfast.

This hotel is housed in a former paper mill by the Gudenå River, 10 minutes’ walk from Silkeborg Museum. Guests can enjoy free internet access and free parking. So close to town, yet on the river and very quiet
