The beds were extremely comfortable and there is a very well equipped and clean shared kitchen. The region is very calm and surrounded by beautiful nature. Perfect spot to calm down and relax.

Ole is a Super friendly and welcoming host and we were lucky to book his BnB last minute. It is equipped with everything. From a garage for your car or bikes to a comfy bed and a packed fridge. We felt more like home far away from home and it was super cozy. Maybe that’s what the people in Denmark call hygge? If you have the chance to stay at Ole’s don’t think twice.

Hotel Britannia is next to Heerups Garden in central Esbjerg, only 50 metres from Torvet Square. It offers free WiFi and rooms with a flat-screen TV. Location is excellent as the Hotel Britannia is in the main square. Close to train, bus & ferry. Lovely breakfast and restaurant. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The highlight was the exceptional service from Mia who greeted me at reception and explained everything throughly, also offering great tips of places to see locally. She is a huge asset to the hotel.

What an amazing place, in a lovely quiet part of Holsted. Dogs are welcome, and we took advantage of the short nature wall by the park that follows a placid, pretty stream. The hotel has an eclectic decor, with themed rooms that are full of character and comfort. And they are incredibly spacious, many of them perfectly suited for families or large parties. We stayed in the Karen Blixen suite and it was incredibly comfortable and restful. The breakfast has no hot food options (beyond boiled eggs at request and a self-serve.waffle-maker), but it had a great selection of musli, jams, bread and cheese, deli cuts, pastries, and more.

The host recommended two walks and we did both of them, only possibly by his recommendations as we are new to area and only staying 1 night.

Située à côté du château de Schackenborg, dans le village pittoresque de Møgeltønder, cette auberge date de 1687. Location is great and the room that we got was very spacious and lovely - we loved the old school vibes! The bed was super comfy with fluffy pillows and warm covers. I appreciated the option to open windows and the blinds as I like to sleep in the dark. Breakfast didn’t have tons of options but all the staples were available; eggs, sausage, bacon, rolls + yoghurt and cereal and fresh fruit. No fresh juice but bottled drinks in several flavors were pretty good!
