Great location and near amazing restaurant Carel. Very clean and friendly. They had a great place for our bike and had them charged for next day.

Posada La Torre de La Quintana is housed in a listed historical building that breathes an air of nobility and aristocracy, surrounded by the beautiful lush Cantabrian countryside. A very good stay in a very special place. This is a lovely and historic property with a unique charm. Everything was clean and in perfect condition, and the room was quite comfortable. The location is right on the Camino, which is terrific, but it’s quite residential so there are just one or two dining options nearby.. the little bar near the church was just fine for a light meal. We especially enjoyed the shared lounge on the first floor, where you can meet other peregrinos and have a chat. Would recommend to others, and would also say that ending the day in Liendo (vs going on to Laredo) worked very well for us on that day and the next.. cheers

Featuring a seasonal outdoor pool with a furnished terrace, Hotel Cuevas is located on a rustic building with modern décor and that is nestled in the picturesque village of Santillana del Mar. This is a wonderful hotel. The staff is very attentive and the rooms are comfortable, very clean and quiet. The pool and terrace looked lovely but it was chilly and we did not use them. Highly recommended.
