Timo, the host, was so hospitable and full of information about the area. The room was large, very comfortable, and the bed was the best one we slept on in Finland. The grounds are beautiful and near Lappeenranta while feeling tucked away. The sauna was well worth using, too!

Very beautiful and cozy house in a green and quiet area overlooking the Saimaa lake. We had a lake side house. Trees frame the view between the house and the lake, yet the beautiful blue water and sunset colors still shine through the leaves. Super clean and spotless premises, fully equipped with everything you need during your vacations for cooking, for leisure and outdoor. Nice fireplace inside and coal grill outside straight on the terrace we used every day. There was also a traditional “kota” - Finnish barbecue hut, but we didn’t use it. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Amazing birds were singing day and night in a beautiful garden around the house. We have enjoyed being on the terrace even under the rain so as there is a a canopy that can be used to protect from the sun and rain. Sauna was not so large but big enough for 2 adults. This place is a gem, strongly recommended to visit! We will definitely come back😍

Beautiful lake view, peaceful surroundings, and the relaxing sound of birds all day long. The kitchen was very organized and well equipped, making the stay very comfortable. It’s a perfect place to relax and clear your mind, and also very good for kids and families.

This property is on a family farm, 7.5 mi outside Savonlinna and 10 minutes’ walk from Lake Pellosjärvi. It offers a private beach, a lakeside sauna and a summer restaurant.

It’s a beautiful setting with extremely hospitable hosts and many warm and friendly returning guests. The property has everything you need for a good stay. Very clean and comfortable room and a very large and well equipped communal kitchen. Breakfast and dinner are very healthy and satisfying. Best of all it’s walking distance through a beautiful woods to the lake where I go row the boat every day and swimming. The Finnish sauna experience by the lake is unforgettable. There’s transportation to the opera everyday even though I didn’t need to use it. I also rented a bike from the host to explore the area. Kalle and Laura are super helpful. Their kid’s pancake bar on Thursdays is such a delight! I stayed 5 nights as a first time solo traveler, yet with all the nicest people around me and the freedom to roam, it felt like a home that I never want to leave.

Room was comfy and beds as well, some noise could be heard from the corridor with kids running around, nighttime was quiet though. Breakfast was busy but there is a double setup of everything so no issue, food variety is excellent. Excellent parking available. If you choose to eat at the hotel there's Classic Pizza and O'Learys pub plus a small kiosk where nibbles can be purchased.
