Frontzu Politia is my favourite spot in Ioannina, location is probably as good as it gets, the atmosphere is amazing and the boutique feeling with the traditional touch is a perfect combination of modern and traditional, I would recommend it 100%, staff is always helpful and very friendly, going out of their way to assist. The breakfast is a whole experience on its own as it is located in the highest point with a beautiful view of the lake and the entire city. Additionally mr Giorgos that has been looking after the guests in the breakfast is like a walking encyclopedia for the city and surroundings, he is always offering information and tips. As for the food it is great with local options, fresh eggs etc. Do not miss it!

Kipi Suites is located in Kipi village in Zagori, overlooking the river of Baya and Mitsikeli mountain. The guesthouse combines the local traditional architecture with modern design interiors.
